Metroid- Channel 51

I found some weird metroid sites around. It doesn't look like metroid at first, but if you look around, you can definatly tell they're related. Could Nintendo be unrolling an ARG of its own in responce to ILB? There isn't any proof it is a full fledged ARG yet, so I posted it in Timewasters. Something to note is that on the Orbis Labs pages there is a Username and Password field.

On orbislabs, the login/pass currently has no correct answer, as the page has invalid.htm hardcoded as the link to the button.

On Channel51, you can click a link, 10-17, and get another site's worth of content, apparently from a few days ago.

As for username ideas, the only thing I've got so far is the chick who runs Channel51, Samantha Manus. (Close enough to Samus for you?) Unless the people that sent her the packet (see section .04) want her to be able to get on the Orbis site, that wouldn't make any sense at all. I poked around in the source, and there was nothing peculiar there, at least to my eyes.

The banner under the Orbis one at the bottom, UFO magazine, doesn't appear to be in game.

Unless the OC PMs hooked up with Nintendo (given their recent "aquisittion" of Warp Pipe, I suppose it's possible,) I doubt it. This is very much related to Metroid, specifically, Metroid Prime 2. Apparently, Nintendo did a fake news thing for Majora's Mask, so I'm cautious about calling this an ARG as of now, although I'd love to get more background on the Metroid Universe.

Oh, and in case anyone missed it, the webmaster of channel 51 is from a place called Sumas, WI. Samus, of course, being the heroine of the Metroid games (whose lovely image graces ilovebeams.)

Gamespot Article that doesn't quite know if this is an ARG yet either.

There's also a link to http://www.2advanced.com

Looks like they helped design the site, so there might be some information there. Other than that, it doesn't look like there's too much going on.
