You have no idea how immensely happy I was after the whole masky thing to see that there was still like ten minutes left in the entry.

I'm thinking Slendy's showing up may have indicated that Alex is dead. It may have been him saying "YOU SON OF A BITCH!". I kinda think Slendy would've killed Jay if Jay didn't make the first move at him. Being the big, badass, malevolent thing, Slendy probably didn't expect Jay to lunge at him like that. It may be a sign that Slendy is weaker than before, now that he doesn't have the whole intimidation thing anymore over Jay.

There was no huge climax. It built up to awesomeness with Tim attacking Alex, but there was no payoff. They had an encounter with slendy and jay saw tim. No big revelations, no real plot development.

Plus, i think this makes a plothole. Where did entry 29 come from if it wasnt the incident that caused the memory loss? As soon as i saw jay take the chest cam, i was expecting 29, but then slendy just... suddenly attacks?

really big disappointment, for me.

please don't kill me.

I don't see anything about Hoody there. And yes I took out the parts w/o whining.

Btw, J needs to check the back of his car. What did he hide there?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Alex is dead so Tim's all successful walking around like everything's fine. That gunshot was Masked Tim killing Alex. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Alex really was dead and Season 3 was about Jay, Jessica (on rare occasion) and totheark working together to get rid of The Operator.

That makes some sense to me if the reason Tim was wearing the Mask was always to try to keep his identity from Alex. Speculating: Tim had some kind of inside information/not everything was wiped from his mind about the original filming of Marble Hornets so he knew Alex was sinister and probably orchestrated the disappearance of Brian. But Alex disappeared/moved away before Tim could do anything about it. BUT, our (adorable idiot) hero went and opened up this can of worms again, and even interviewed Tim about it. Tim played dumb, but knew what Jay was looking into. He also knew that if he followed Jay, eventually Jay would lead him to Alex. He does, and after some confrontations Tim finally gets to kill Alex (motives: revenge and protecting people from Alex, since he clearly can't go to the police with this supernatural shit) after he pulls the gun on Jay and Jessica. Afterwards, Tim doesn't have to even attempt to hide his identity anymore, and goes back to being normal Tim.

Basically, I think maybe Tim isn't nearly as crazy as we've been making him out to be. He's been provoking Jay to go find Alex so that Tim can find Alex as well. The best way to do that, in light of all the freaky supernatural shit going on in the tapes, is with the semblance of freaky supernatural shit.

Edit: Just thought of the fact that TiMasky appears as Masky in the present-ish entry where Jay is chased out of the hotel. Fitting that with my theory, I think that Tim just knew that Jay need OUT of that hotel NAO and realized that the best way to do that was to show up as Masky. Remember, at that time Jay didn't KNOW Masky=Tim and probably would have tried to stop and question Tim, but Masky running at him and attacking him in the hotel... no way. Jay would book it out of there.

I was totally waiting for Amy's corpse to be hanging out in the mill/attic thing. And what was with Jess's headache and coughing when she went to check in? Think she's just more sensitive to Masky exposure, or does that suggest she's been going through her own weirdness off-camera?

YESSSSSS I am so pleased with this entry, season three is going to be amazing.

That lunge at the Operator is the most YOU GO GIRL I have ever felt for Jay.

If Tim isn't a twin and Masky is living in Tim's body I wonder how he's rationalizing all the injuries?

I don't see anything about Hoody there.

specifically, no

but i said "no revelations, no plot development"

we already knew alex was evil

we already knew jay was gonna lose his memory in a slendercounter

we already knew how jay and jessica were linked

so yeah i was mainly thinking masky/hoody information when i said that

I've been quiet these past few months, having retreated to the depths of Interplosion for general chat and moderate Marble Hornets chat.

This new entry, however, has sealed the few holes in my Marble Hornets Mega Theory that I have been working on for some time. In a few days I hope to have it posted here on Unfiction for your reading and critique.

It explains - either correctly or incorrectly, but with evidence - everything in the entire series.

I'm 99% sure Alex is dead and season 3 is about how mad the Operator is about it, with the rest of the cast uncovering new secrets about our slender friend by decoding things and....

and staring at plaster walls

am i the only one who was seriously disappointed by this entry?

No, I'm disappointed as well. In the end, this was the entry that just had to be done to tie up all the loose ends, and it doesn't even feel like they all got tied up (as the you stated, where does noentry fit into all this?)

Don't get me wrong, it's a solid entry while being extremely predictable (were there people out there who really didn't think up the basic theory of Alex attacks, Masky Saves, Operator catches them within the first 10 entries of Season 2?)

The ending is a complete flop, though. He decides to go back and...just happens to find Tim smoking a cig and walking down the street.

It's just really "meh". I'd rather have it end with Tim revealing himself to Jay, or end it with a TTA vid showing Tim abducting Jay or something.

Just feels meh. I think they need a break at this point though so I ain't gonna hate on it or nothing.

Fantastic entry. Oh my God, there is now such a void in my life Smile Hmmm...I don't think Tim is a hero, though, I think he's still an acoylte of Slenderman - and that Slenderman has his own reasons for keeping Jay alive. Maybe in entry #33 (correct me if I'm wrong?), Tim was sent to collect Jay and Jessica?

Hmmm...not sure about Alex. It's possible he thought that Jay and Jessica were under Slenderman's influence and he's just gone crazy from paranoia or that he once was in league with Slenderman, either as an acoylte or as an equal partner, and when he broke his condtioning/Slenderman had no further use for him and Slenderman is now trying to kill him.

Ah, Jess. Please, be alive, although Troy and Joseph, don't be shy of killing of because of shock value. (Yes, I'm fickle) Sounds like someone you'd want around in a crisis with the way she calmed Jay down.

I'm glad though that season three is the final season though, because although this season has been brilliant, their is a sense of the mystery being streched just a little bit too far. But, I'll see you guys this time next year (well, probably a lot inbetween then) when we discuss the earth shattering conclusion to Marble Hornets, which will be NOTHING nothing what we expect. Hopefully.

Troy and Joseph - well done, sirs Smile
