 		I'd say, the first four characters are numbers 5602, which is in base 7... in decimal it would be 2011.... in regards to the file name, seems like they're declaring something for this year.,... wonder what?

Next two characters is H/W and E/I... I'm guessing it's wither He or We... unless this is not english..

hahahaha, hey long time been gone on this thread! Yeah, 100 pages in 4 months? This got to be one of the fastest growing threads I've seen that I can remember...

I blanked for a while there as well as i can't be "SHAII/SHAEE" or "FAII/FAEE" so I just assumed the PMs might has set this wrong, or maybe this is a clue later on? We'll have to see

 		I didn't mean to drop the ball on this but I'd been sitting on that voicemail I got from a while back. Well, I finally FINALLY had some time to sit down and translate it. Why the heck not!

zeighy, you were right and it is a bunch of numbers in Russian. I used all my brain energy tonight and found a quick tutorial for Russian numbers and then used Google Translate to fill in the gaps. FYI, the numbers you're hearing for are 20, 30-39, and 61-66. Why? Because it's a hex message of course! Hooray for learning Russian! Mad

I was able to translate the voicemail into the following numbers, and I grouped them into 3's (you'll find out why in the spoiler):

 		Wow! Hope she isn't going Glados on us. Whatever the case, I just got an email from lainsy saying that all Failtech email, even hers, are now deleted and that we can no longer communicate with her either. I sure hope we did the right thing. Poor Alex. All he wanted was to be successful. He just wasn't aware of the purpose of the company that he worked so hard for. Maybe we can offer him a job working with us. Wink

 		I know. I feel bad for doing that to Alex. Embarassed (Isn't it amazing how real everything feels now?) I told Bruno to alert him and the rest of Failtech about what was going to happen. Guess he didn't get the memo. We can still communicate with Genus and several others though, so I don't think this is necessarily "The End" quite yet. It's not like Lainsy is going to harm the people who are on lockdown or anything. It is for their own safety. Lainsy has detected the incoming threat now. I'm going to contact Genus and let him know that Lainsy is now in control.

Anyhow, I'll be on my way to pickup Emily... It's been a while since we last saw each other and a lot has happened. We'll have a lot to catch up on and a lot to do. Maybe I'll pickup Alex as well and explain things to him. I sure he's really mad of everything. He's been busy with his little world around FAILTECH that he doesn't realized how deep of a hole he has dug himself into.
 
Anyways, LAINSY is out of reach right now because of what you did. I and Emily should be able to create a patch through so that we can enable communications again. But that will be later on, for now I need you guys to stay put, and maybe pretend there's no trouble coming to Earth. You know, other people don't need to know since we're still on that stage trying to prevent the Orkudusu from coming in the first place.


Well, now that I've royally screwed everybody, anybody else want to try to help me figure out what in the hell we were supposed to do instead?

Edit: I'm going to take a back seat and lurk for a while I think. I don't know what the deal is, but it's just not the same as it used to be.

 		Yeah, it seems we get thrown way too many problems/challenges to solve but no time to focus on what might actually be going on -- so our solutions lead to more problems, and we're caught in a vicious cycle. (Hence the name FAILtech maybe?)

I have a bunch of questions that probably aren't going to get answered but I figured I'd put them all in a big list and see if we can keep them in mind as events progress:
  • What happened to 45459/Jhuku/Kid? Is his disappearance a very bad thing (i.e. did we fail big time by losing him)?
  • What happened to Daniel?
  • Why do people keep randomly disappearing (Pedro, 45459, Daniel, and all of the others who mysteriously disappear) and then either show back up or not? Have their memories been wiped and how do we learn what happened to them?
  • If the Orkudusu infiltrated FAILTECH, who in the company were they? Pedro and his minions? Did they accomplish what they hoped to accomplish while they were on Earth (i.e. did they win and we lose)?
  • What is it that the Orkudusu actually want? Do they want to destroy us now? Invade us? Not sure what's going on with these incoming ships.
  • What exactly do the Byruniuku want or hope to accomplish here?
  • Where is Scarlet Rain, Emily's daughter? And where have Emily & Scarlet been all this time? And is there something important about their disappearance years ago?
  • What is the ultimate goal of this game? To stop the Orkudusu? To stop something from happening that causes our future to go into some cycle?
  • What was the deal with the time warps? To show that we keep messing up and so the future is messed up? If so, how do we fix the future? What is the "good/goal" future?
  • What is Genus's plan and what does he want us to do?
  • Do the ancillary BODs and companies (Klein, Black, Fred Don, etc.) have any significant roles anymore?
  • Was there a point to those texts and voicemails I received? Is phone communication a viable form of communicating in this game? The initial texter turned out to be Emily Rain but after she disappeared, who was contacting me? LAINSY or someone else?
  • What about Netspec/Patrice Heinz? Is she still playing a role here? What exactly does she want in all this? And who are her fellow spies in FAILTECH?

I'm sure there's more, but I just wanted to get these down just to show how confused I've gotten as the game has progressed. What's important, what can get dropped? What should we be focusing on?

Scarlet reports that she'll be using the Gravitonic system to prevent the Orkudusu from coming. Well, I'd say that's a good since the Gravitonic system can basically prevent them from moving in space.

Right now, I'm still trying to figure out how to send their (and the Byruniuku) planet back to it's correct time. I feel that only then we should be safe from any threats from them. I'll figure that one out later and let Scarlet do her thing. Then we'll deal with FAILTECH after that.

 		I was just curious so I did a search on the forums... and surprisingly our friend netspec/patrice heinz has been on the game since the start.... she's been one of the service agents we were in contact with and the one who appears to have been "taken care of"...
