I guess it's time to stick my toe in the water and be a player in one of these things... Don't really know what I'm doing but well see where it goes.

We're not 100% sure yet, but the folks who are playing Louis Walks believe this site is related to it. If it is Louis Walks, it's still early enough in it's story though for people to catch up pretty quickly if anyone wants to join in.

The signature looks like a date which would equate to sixteen years ago.

THX both. Seeing 4131995 as a date led to the shoe to finally drop on my noggin. Am RL busy so hoping one of you smarties can take a final leap.
"Partial Found Code Solve"
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Looks like a Gronsfeld Cipher with a cipher key "4131995". An addn'l alphabet key (if also used) eludes me atm. Cleaned up a lil it reads:
YOU SAY YOU ARE LIKE ME DIFFERENT. IF YOU READ THIS YOU MAYBE. WHAT IS YOUR "E" HANDLE AND YOUR PARENTS? IF YOU ARE IN MY COMMUNITIY "S" REGISTRY YOUR "E" LIKE ME. IF NOT YOU MIGHT BE DIFFERENT BUT YOU ARE NOT MY KIND.
**am seeing this as Found's reply to the "i am different" commenter on the blog**

fffffffffffffffff. I noticed it could function as a date a while back, but didn't know there was a code that used that and passed it off as coincidence. Note to self: nothing is a coincidence.
That being said, congrats on cracking it!

Big TY Merago. Liked your latest blog comment, too. Maybe you can use this code info to put a dent in Found's haughty hide? EDIT: Ditto @elitepastafa. *hehe*

I am curious though. How did you decipher "i am different"'s name?

I don't think that name has been deciphered yet (I'm assuming you mean the 5e648862-0ca9-11e1-9740-000bcdcb8a73 username). It looks like a hex string, which has me wondering if it's actually something that's to be deciphered, or whether it's simply a security identifier that's in hex. I don't know enough about AOL identities to know if this is a common occurrence.
I've had a play around with the string but didn't get anything meaningful out of it.

Without the pause bars "5efc69deba73dc4bccbc3342eaefc1ab" looks like an MD5 crypt hash 'tho it's unknown in the data bases I use to decrypt 'em.
Maybe it's as you say just the commenter's handle?

Ha! You had the same thought I did. I just came back to say I ran it through an MD5 database and came up with -
Fu1lM374l
FullMetal?
Could it be Fu1lM374lSPLAT aol.com possibly?
EDIT- I am so rubbing this in Found's face

Ok. Got an undeliverable from Fu1lM374lSPLAT aol.com, so that's out.
Ok, having decided not to opt for the smart-arse approach this time (All that approach got me last time was shot down for making the assumption that Found was talking about Louis from the Louis Walks game), I've opted for the following response-
Quote:
Tlf kbwmqe cpx tnnp iw Gx1mV374u
04131995
Using the same Gronsfeld cipher as Found used (without subsituting for numbers as that way I can keep the upper case letters in the username), this gives-
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The handle you seek is Fu1lM374l
