[QUESTION/HUMOR] Who would Mel/Durga throw the election for?

The U.S. Presidential Election

...It's a topic we should all be worried about come recipe8.html/November 2...

Durga: What if spying hasn't been the only thing I've been doing in my sleep?
Jersey: What do you mean?
Durga: What if I've been rigging elections? Or bankrupting third world nations?
Jersey: You couldn't do that! Could you?
Durga: I am a very resourceful girl, Jersey.

Cast your vote now, while it still matters doesn't matter anyway! Polls close Nov. 3 around noon.

DISCLAIMER: I swear this is just for fun, and I'm not trying to get overtly political. But it's a pretty important question! Wink

Hmmm, makes you wonder. If an AI could rig an election, could they make themself President? And would that really be a bad thing? You wouldn't have to worry about a third term. Course you would have to worry about halfway through the second.

And for Weephun's slogan:

Leave no child free
</cruel_humor>[/b]

Bush. He's already a corrupt puppet so he'd be easier to manipulate than the other candidates. And people would believe it if he won, so it would be easier to manage. Very Happy

Anyone who votes in this poll for a real candidate is missing the point anyway. Wink

LOL I'd do it, but I'd feel bad unless I donated all the profits - most likely towards:

Wink

(p.s. how 'bout them red sox)

It's a done deal. All profits (if there end up actually being any) go to Bees For Development.

Order yours now!

Seriously, though.
For the '04 election Melissa would need:

A - Someone alive in '04 (rules out Jersey)

B - Someone she knows is loyal to her "mission" (rules out all "real" candidates who already have their own political parties and agendas and any that don't know her mission aka Harrison Ford)

C - Someone/thing the laws in '04 would allow to become president (rules out herself and other electronic devices aka the dispenser and also bees) of course we'd change those laws later, but we have to get our foot in the door first right?

So the clear choice is Lt. weephun.
- Melissa loves me.
- The press already know me.
- I have a squad of loyal followers ready to assume cabinet positions. Go Team Idaho!
- And hey, I've even already got detractors ready and willing to slander my character (isn't that a requirement now? Rolling Eyes )

[slogan]
The clear choice for a presidential victory rigged by a futuristic AI bent on completing her mission at all costs!
[/slogan]

Don't forget to vote!

You would have to retire from active duty to run. That would suck, if you lost the campaign.
