Should point out I was your former chess opponent - the one most soundly thrashed! The 30th I can make with some caveats. Daylight hours are not so good for me due to working out in the provinces north of London. If its in central London at night that's possible work willing.

Interesting reaction to the mention of Segei. I think we need to broach this in a more subtle way. No names mentioned - get Vlad to do the research into it and if he uses the name himself Sergei may not become dominant

I'm Cardui - I'm going to be running Vlad's module for a few days to try and set up a filter to allow for smoother running - the processing aspects are a little hectic and so you'll have to bear with.

If you're wanting to help me out though, you could do me a favour - I'm needing images for Vlad to focus on - but they need to be a combination of photography and written format. Each treasure corresponds with one of the Celtic tree months. Only Vlad in his role as guardian liaison knew which one was which. Can you work them out, then [and this is the hard part]:

You need to take a picture of each tree - it needs to be done live [not just googled, otherwise I'd do it here!] - The image needs someone in it holding a piece of paper with the treasure's proper title in the old language written whilst the whole tree is in shot - so the writing needs to be big! [or you need to be clever with the shots...]
The trees are:

Birch, 1st Moon of the Celtic Year
Rowan, 2nd Moon of the Celtic Year
Ash, 3rd Moon of the Celtic Year
Alder, 4th Moon of the Celtic Year
Willow, 5th Moon of the Celtic Year
Hawthorn, 6th Moon of the Celtic Year
Oak, 7th Moon of the Celtic Year
Holly, 8th Moon of the Celtic Year
Hazel, 9th Moon of the Celtic Year
Vine, 10th Moon of the Celtic Year
Ivy, 11th Moon of the Celtic Year
Reed, 12th Moon of the Celtic Year
Elder, 13th Moon of the Celtic Year

Each guardian should provide an image for each treasure they are responsible for. Vlad has the guardianship of the drinking vessel so it's the other twelve you need to do - asap please. Feel free to delegate though, I'll try and get something from Intueor's vaults as a way of saying thank you for the best image[s]...
Email them here - I'll be using the interface to monitor Vlad's 'rest'...

So, we have to figure out which tree goes with which artifact and take a picture of it with the treasure's name visible. Well, fellow Guardians, any ideas?

Quintus, this was an excellent convo. Effing awesome work on this (btw, I'm sure you already know but the binary says "Silence, every one of you!"). So, Sergei was "created" to run certain operations, Vlad is a telepath cyborg... DID, Inteuor... A LOT was learned from that.

I can give you a bit of background on Vanessa. She was effectively the rabbit hole for the first game. We started following her on Twitter and Facebook, and she mentioned that her uncle was ill and not doing very well. She wanted to start working on a family tree project, tracing her ancestry back. From her ancestry project online, we discovered that her name was Annabel Cardui, and that she died December 11, 1999. We also met Vlad and VA's friend Claire through Facebook.

At some point, either in the same game or in later ones, I believe that the course of history was changed, and Claire and VA became the same person: Claire Vanessa Atalanta. Telos can probably help you out more, as I was unable to get too involved in the previous games.

As far as the trees go, I know that there are plenty of oaks around here, but I'm unsure about the others. Once we've figured out which treasure goes with which trees, if the respective guardian doesn't live near any oaks, I'm more than happy to provide a picture.

I haven't had much time to look at my treasures lately, but I will try to do that this week. In the meantime, I found something that I haven't seen anybody mention yet. It's not a huge find or anything, but I found it interesting. In Vlad's last FB post back on Saturday there is a string of smiley faces and frowning faces. It turns out it's a code. I spoilered the solution just in case...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Change the smiley faces to 0 and the frowning faces to 1 to get a binary string that translates to "Silence, every one of you!" This is the same message Quintus received in binary during his chat, but I didn't know if anyone had noticed it here.

Anyway, back to treasures and trees...
