That's understandable to feel put off or hurt for how the ARG creator responded. I mean, it's every puppet master's dream to have someone really want to be involved in their creation, right? Even if you came off as over-enthusiastic, or even pestering, it's not really fair to you for them to be patronizing in return, especially if it's a personal, out-of-game sort of attack.

I say this having been sharp with someone who got over-zealous in an old ARG I tried to start. They were really apologetic when I was the one being cranky, and I felt bad for a really long time because they were the first peson to really care about what I was doing.
