Yes, it definitely does improve after the first few entries, just as most slendervlogs do. here are a few really good videos later on and the story branches out beyond just hearing noises/seeing Slendy once in a while. Also, as for Slendy's first appearance, let's just say it gets better and leave it at that without spoiling anything.

The whole double-blind ruse with Jesse reminded me a lot of Twin Peaks, and the teen trio on that show maneuvering to con several suspects in the Laura Palmer murder mystery. Fun times. Hilariously, Eric is the goofiest liar ever - all the loud talk and ingratiating non-sequiters.

I find the whole Ben Drowned ARG laughable, but the callback here was neat- the old Zelda music combined with the room and that box was quite creepy. It actually looks like a Legend of Zelda prop.

Once again, they cross-cut between the two cameras for cinematic style. The nail-biter with Chris upstairs and the others outside plays like film, like a normal narrative would sans found footage while staying raw and real.

The train was an nice, presumably unplanned touch, very atmospheric. NGTL, I half-expected Slendy to be on it.

I really like the latest entry, though my suspension of disbelief is a bit rattled by them putting footage of themselves committing a crime and abusing her trust on the internet.

Then again, hopefully this will end up having plot ramifications later on when she finds out and ends up drawn into this mess.

I thought that was DerRitter for sure the first time I watched it, especially since he seemed to vanish when the camera pointed towards the train the second time, and I was wondering how they managed to pull that off... Then I went back and realized in was just a man in a suit who happened to walk away before the camera pointed back in his direction. Nice coincidence though.

I don't post often, but I thought I'd come around dig through some threads.

For those who don't mind breaking immersion, Chris and Alex were on a podcost interview sort of deal where they talked about the series and some of the incidents that came up during filming, and some other things. Tim from Marble Hornets was in one, too.

(Alex and Chris are in the second podcast, with Chris and Tim being on the third.)

As for the whole deal with them posting the entire Heather thing online, I'm hoping she finds their channel by mistake and finds out about everything. It would be pretty amusing, really.

I'm still holding out for more of the cult to come into play. I really love the way they did it, oh man, and I'm hoping more of the folks from it show up.
