in the upper part of the floor plan you see is morse code for "pierce". There is also a comment in the jpg file if you open it in notepad, "morse_code".

 		Here's a list of the items retrieved so far in chronological order. I've included the method used for the clues. Below the list is a copy of the grid from WIHIS with the number and year added. I'm wondering if there is a pattern or method to why the items are being retrieved in such a random order. Perhaps there's a meta puzzle waiting to be solved.

I'll try to keep this updated with each new find.

G. St. Louis, MO /help Blomkvist's Expose (help in Swedish written backwards in photo)
H. El Paso, TX /estranged Millennium Magazine (modified Railfence tweeted by MTS)
40. Chicago, IL /disguise Flower (morse-code hidden in photo)

Shortly after the Chicago flower was marked as found, MTS tweeted "/first", which started a fun challenging little puzzle trail. The first puzzle was to unscramble song titles from the GWTDT soundtrack and using the missing letters in correct order, for "/mellifluous". The second puzzle, using the time stamps listed on /mellifluous on the "Hard Copy" video posted on WIHIS December 7, provided a list of words from each timestamp. The solution is an acrostic of the first letters /latentmystery. Puzzle three looks like a crossword; but is solved by folding in quarters and eliminating each letter mirrored with a blank. As each letter is eliminated it's mirrored spots are also eliminated leaving the following message: "the missing solution is blockout" /blockout. The last puzzle to solve is two identical pictures with the word "difference". The person who solved this, opened both pictures in Photoshop and using "differece" mode with a couple of adjustments, was able to see 1-20-1-21-14-20-9-14-7-1-14-20-8-15-9-4 across the bottom of the pictures. Replacing the numbers with their alphabet counterpart you get /atauntinganthoid, which led to the final page with a phone number. The first person to call, was rewarded with the unclaimed San Diego flower.

A movie with the title "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" is listed as in post production on iMDB, so this may be a tie in?

 		The viral campaign for "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" ended yesterday with a bang. I've updated my post above with a quick run through of the final events, which included a fun, challenging little puzzle trail. The solves are included in the update, so if you want to attempt the puzzle trail without peeking, it starts here.

Thanks to whoever put this campaign together, fun was had by all.
