Probably he's tailing Tim, if he ever find him out.

Speculation moment: Tim is a completely boring person, he does nothing significant, so Jay decides to simply talk to him.

I'm guessing the first entry of S3 will be a recap of what Jay has done during the break and will maybe have him approaching Tim. There might be occasional flashbacks but most of S3 will be present time. At some point, Hoody/TTA needs to be revealed.

Hoody is definatly a must, although considering there pretty much only one person it could be (Brian), it would be more of a confermation.

Whether or not she was thick in the plot at the same time as Hoody is irrelevant. They both appeared at around the same time in the timeline, contrary to what you posted Wink

It doesn't matter what time Jessica got involved. Hoody could be her alternate personality or something (like Tim and Masky).

I still think Hoody is Brian, though.

but from other speculation of which i agree, i think the person whose footsteps were heard by jay and jessica in entry 52 are probably coming from hoody. it definitely makes sense, since i don't think the operator was there at that specific time and tim was already up in the shack thing so i really do not think that it could be jessica.

so i'm really thinking it has to be brian. it could possibly be seth or can i go so far as to say it could possibly be sarah? i really doubt it is either sarah or seth but we really have no way of knowing until there is a big reveal that will inevitably happen in s3. it's definitely not as obvious as it was with tim being masky.

I think Trosephim is trying to point us in the direction that Masked Tim is very fast, based on Entry #50 when he outran Jay with a recovering leg. Yet again, Hoody outrun Alex during Entry #45; so it's likely that Hoody lags behind to get the attention of his target, while Masked Tim blindsides the target later.
