 		The DEADHEAD noise has to have a "K", IMO. As in "KKKKKSHAAAAAAAAAAHAAAASSHAAAAAAAAAABLGAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAH".

The sound is not so harsh that it needs the hard K. A B will suffice. And it's short. Also, it ends in a static, so an SH is added to the end.

I Don't know what I was thinking on the whole "not putting an SH at the end like a stupid man" thing, but I will stand by that hard K for as long as I live. To each their own, I suppose.

Also, mine's so long because it's art. It captures the intricacies of the sound. But for serious there are way too many fucking As there.

Just a slight dip in pitch in the middle.

The K would be fine if it were a harder sound. I think that's why it's so frightening a sound, it's NOT harsh or loud, it's just creepy, but still sudden.

As far as length, it's less than 3 seconds of terror. THAT is the true art of it.

I don't find the K as harsh as you seem to. I only like it there because I think it provides a good opening. And I totally think it should be shorter, as I edited in above. I made it too long because I felt like typing a shit-ton of As. Anyway, tomato, tomahto, let's call the whole thing off, et cetera.
