Yeah, I'm definitely getting a shapeshifter vibe thus far. Random thoughts:

The creek seems to be an important location. Rich was found there, and now it pops up in the dream.
The dead tree with armlike branches plays on a lot of primal fears of the woods. Not sure what to make of it yet.
The blank white face with hateful eyes- is that the same as the white wolf? I couldn't quite tell. But the open/not open mouth thing both makes perfect sense to some part of my subconscious and creeps me out.
Do we know who Dan is? I don't remember that name coming up before. It could be he's already gone through whatever's happening to Louis (hence the "its gonna be okay"), but its a dangerous process, whatever it is (turning into the white wolf).
The opening the blinds part is making me think that Louis's stalker is the white face being, or a proxy for it.

Also, I really like Louis's prose. The last paragraph, especially, but the whole dream was described in a wonderfully lyrical fashion.

I'm pretty sure Dan is his roommate. I don't remember it coming up in any of his blog posts, but he and Erica have been occasionally chatting with @ChristineCabalo on twitter, and one of hers says

The latest post is interesting. He talks about large, dangerous, unidentified animals being reported. He also says that he is sleeping better and seems more comfortable back home. He never set up the camera though, so all we can do is watch and wait. I guess until after the Thanksgiving holiday.

His twitter feed's showing some strange stuff. His roommate's not been in much, and left in a big hurry this morning (11/30), and Louis says he's been feeling stronger urges to go into the woods at night.

He made a blog post with minor informaton on recent events, but the main bit is him asking for our emails. I don't really know much about wordpress, so I can't figure out where his email is at.
