In all seriousness, I highly doubt Jay defeated the Operator. Whether he ran at it or not, it definitely looked like he got the crap beaten out of him--uh, mentally at least. Maybe Alex is incapacitated and keeping it around himself for protection, or he's moved away and the Op follows him. Who knows? At this point I'd be happy to hear any coherent theory, far-fetched or otherwise.

 		The only way this makes sense to me is that Alex is either dead or incapacitated, which is why he hasn't been able to summon the Operator and send him to fuck Jay. That, or Jay actually got at keep a low profile, which, seeing how he is secretely handling Tim's investigation, I highly doubt it.

I've noticed it too. 80% of his posts now are related to Marble Pornets. I think he must be the embodiment of Marble Pornets itself.

 		He brings it up when its not even related now...I actually don't mind Marble Pornets when it's funny, but with Tharol I've just noticed that his HSQ* is going like, through the roof O_O

HSQ stands for Holy Shit Quotient, measured by the volume and number of times I say "Holy shit, what?!" while reading or watching something.

i think jay charging at big op parallels entry 43: perhaps alex knew he was going to get mind wiped and wanted it to happen

Not saying he isn't, and I'm not saying that Jay took out The Operator indefinitely, if you'll read the previous posts. I'm just saying it's a possibility that he caused a minor setback to The Operator and maybe gave The Operator a harder time to manifest himself against Jay. I mean, unless they explain that he was occupied with something else, then why has Jay not seen him at all in S2?

I'm going to say one more time for future posts; I'm just throwing out the theory that Jay set the Operator back with his actions, and I do not think we have seen the end of The Operator, especially with a whole other season to come. I just think it's interesting that it's possible that as uneven as the playing field is (Jay being... well, Jay) and The Operator being a faceless extradimensional being of doom, that Jay might of actually gotten in some points against tall and faceless.
