I've been trying to figure out which tree corresponds to each treasure, but it's been real busy for me IRL. Still I had one idea:

Its clearly not Vladimir, and the fact it refers to Cardui means its not her.
3 of us are supposed to meet up tomorrow though, myself, Quintus Septime and Paul Bird.

I'm going to post what I have done regarding the two tasks we currently have, the Vladimir input needed task and the Tree Calendar task.


Vladimir input needed:
The image behind the board in the file is the orbits of asteroids. the image location is at:

The interesting part however is this, the "6984. Date". There is an asteroid, called 6984 lewiscaroll. This asteroid was discovered on the 04.01.1994.

I haven't been able to decipher the board. However I do plan to email Cardui the date the asteroid was found and see if it triggers anything.


Tree Calendar:
Below I have a few trees and treasures which I think may match up to another along with the reasoning why which I've taken only from the sources provided in the email.

White-hilt -> rowan
"The wood from the Hawthorn provides the hottest fire "

The Knife -> Oak
"The Oak is a male wood which is ideal for the construction of any tool that needs the male influence such as Athames, certain wands and staffs"

The Cauldron -> Hazel

In order to gain the wisdom of the Hazel, the Druids caught and prepared the salmon. I accept the thanks regrettably.

I gave them Merlin's crystal. In return I have received several scrolls, a pen, an oak leaf, a map, stones and a few symbols. The good news about this is the scrolls also seem to provide the missing hints needed for the trees problem as well as other important information. The bad news is we are now on a time limit I've been told. Also I believe that on the input needed task another date can be obtained.

Unfortunately I have no scanner here so I'll scan the pages tomorrow for everyone and upload them. At the same time I'll upload the other images for the other objects in my possession and the symbol on the ground of where I met the agent.

What happened today.

I travelled to crystal palace and arrived when it was getting dark, about 4pm. I went to the north mound where I had arranged to meet an agent of Sergei. Upon arrival I saw a man in cloak with a hood pulled up and a long nose masquerade mask on.

He was standing at the entrance to the maze. Between us was a symbol, at the middle of this symbol was a piece of paper, a pen and leaf attached to it. The piece of paper was a simple chess puzzle, the pen was the one above and the oak leaf was the one with the writing on it.

After this the masquerade masked man(henceforth known as MMM), went behind the gate. MMM had on the back of his hands two symbols, the left hand had a crescent moon on it with a 0 written above it and the right hand an alchemical sun (a circle and a dot in the center) with 1 above it. I asked a few questions which he replied by using his hands, 1 for yes and 0 for no. The agent is known to vlad and sergei. I asked a few questions which led to the conclusion that Inteour was involved in the fire 75 years ago at crystal palace.

After the questions he led me into the center of the maze where there was a clearing. At the center there was a red blanket spread out. At the center of this blanket was a map with stones on its corner. I looked at the map and which MMM then folded up and gave to me with the stones inside it. I did ask if there were any differences with the map he gave me and the digital copy I received from sergei via email, which there wasn't. He then pointed in a direction. I went in that direction to a pile of leaves. I cleared the leaves out of the way and under it was a medal with an oak leaf on it.

MMM then pulled in the corners of the blanket and brought me to the edge of the clearing. The ground had a map of the maze. I was then led out of the clearing and to the entrance of the maze and set me off into it.
I spent a surprising amount of time in the maze. The maze had a lot of monoliths with images of nature on them. I made it to one with an oak leaf on it where MMM told me I would find the crystal

I did find under a pile of leaves to the side. After getting it I returned to the clearing where MMM asked me if I wanted to keep the crystal or exchange it for the scrolls. Since I didn't know what the crystal was or how to use it I exchanged it for the scrolls. At which point I was thanked since they were not able to obtain the crystal themselves.

It took me longer than expected but here are both images of the objects I have and scans of all the scrolls I received. The numbers don't reflect any order for the scrolls. The pen might be where the agent is from or works.

Ah! He gave you the eight queens puzzle - that's one of my personal favorites.

I guess there were positives and negatives from your meeting, but I do wonder if it we would have been able to solve the tree puzzle with making the trade... still it should make things a bit more interesting now.

Very interesting stuff. I'm pretty sure those of you that live in the UK know but Bletchley Park, now home to the National Museum of Computing, used to be the home to the Government Code and Cypher School. It was used during WWII to crack ciphers from enemy countries. Station X was also located there, which was a radio intercept station. I wonder what the significance of that is???

Based on the scroll for the Cauldron and the clue therein "understand the
way Follow Taliesin" I'm going to agree with Forebringers conclusion about the tree for the cauldron being Hazel

Alright, so mostly to help myself, I've compiled a list of the trees and potential matches. I haven't been around much lately, so it's very likely that I've missed some ideas being tossed around, but I went back in the thread and put together all of the ideas that I saw. Let me know if I've messed something up.
