I know a couple of identical twin brothers, friends of mine who live on my street. They're pretty damn tall, and they think it's funny to dress exactly alike, and have identical hairstyles.

They found out I was into the Slender Man Mythos, so this morning they stood in front of my house as I went to get the paper, with shaved heads, flesh bandages over their mouths and eyes, and suits, just staring at me.

Despite how horrified I was, it was still damn funny. Really wish I'd have gotten a pic.

Getting home for Winter Break, driving in the Dallas area, there are a lot of billboards for "Doctor Jay" and testimonials from his patients. One of them was "**** Hospital cured my insomnia! Thanks, Doctor Jay!" Only, for a second I read it as "**** Hospital cured my hypersomnia! Thanks, Doctor Jay!"

Oo Yea... it was a long drive.

I was standing on the corner of St. Mark's and 2nd Ave. in NYC a few days ago with some friends, and spied a circle with an X inside it drawn in chalk on the sidewalk. Began jumping up and down going, "Slenderman was here!" No one got it.

There's this one really really bad recurring nightmare/event/thing that happened in my life [it's stupid really, but it's something I'm really sensitive to] that still makes me wake up terrified two years later. Pretty much the only way I can think of to calm down after a dream involving said thing is imagining the Operator standing in my room keeping the thing away in a "Leave her alone, she's mine and I get to torture her first, not you!"kind of way. Because honestly I'd rather have to deal with the Operator than that other thing.

And I know this sounds really really creepy and insane without context, but yea. It's actually pretty funny, IMO. -shrug- The inhuman mind-raping monster keeping the much more terrifying mind-raping human monster at bay. Wink
