Possible Trailhead: The Dark Knight Rises?
Possible The Dark Knight Rises Trailhead leaked to Wired.com?

Ran a search for this and didn't see anything, so I figured I would post. I apologize for the new account, long time lurker who forgot his old login. I know some people around here get paranoid about that. Anyways...

This popped up on a Wired.com subdomain, Underwired today. They claim it was leaked to them and admit it's part of PR/Marketing campaign. Someone in the comments made the connection to Alon Abutbul, credited as "mad scientist" in some TDKR materials. Did a quick google, came up with nothing, maybe someone else can find something.

Edited to add image.

Happy hunting folks!

This site has yet another page, a piece of a transcript involving the doctor's whereabouts.

Should this be in this thread? http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=32352

And I mean that in an honest "I really don't know" sort of way.

Additionally, here is another link.

Which contains the attached image.

Oh! I heard a lot of good things about the last Batman ARG, I'm glad I can get in early for this one. Hope it's nice and interactive. Very Happy Count me in!

Shouldn't there be a game thread starting for this one?

Here is the first thread of this films ARG that we know of.

This thread here is for the Why So Serious campaign from the last film.

Noting each here for ease of use for research reasons.

Onto what I have so far (if anything)

There is a 'Doctor Leonid Pavel' mentioned in a story entitled "Class Dismissed" written in 2004 by someone allegedly named 'Micheal Walker' (according to the site itself) and called 'dboose', allegedly from the company 'Verizon' (according to the document properties).

A guy called 'Don Boose' from Plainville Entertainment (also owner of Simply Scripts) is most likely the 'dboose' here, and the oddly spelt Micheal Walker is either a sock puppet account or just pretty lucky with his naming of characters.

There is a chance here that 7 years in someone associated with either or them is now part of an ARG team within Hollywood and residual memories of character names have surfaced, or it could be connected somehow.

Told you it was probably all nothing from me!!

Happy hunting all!

Man, I've been photoshopping these two images to death for hours, to no avail. I think this viral might be more Inception than TDK.

The profile on the Doctor seems to have the first half of an IP address at the bottom:

223.255

I've convinced myself there's a second half somewhere, but I tried 2355.889 and got nothing. Anyone see anything I don't?

Are we sure this is the start of a longer viral? It seems official enough but we've had so many bits and pieces on this that I'm now reluctant to get excited just yet! Also if 42 aren't involved this time can it really beat Why So Serious?

No idea - but that's part of the fun, isn't it? Pulling apart whatever tidbits we do get in the hope of revealing a bigger picture - even if it turns out that there's nothing actually there?

I tried it. I saw on the Empire forums that someone else tried it, and nothing comes of it. It's got to be something else.
