That's one explanation for the water scenes, indeed, the seventh trial. Those scenes always intrigued me the most. Many questions about them, as until the seventh trial, they seemed quite random and out of place.

Thanks for clarifying, Lui & qaqa. I don't think I was around for that. I'd heard about Evan's rage email, but didn't realize the suspicions were only discussed here. I'll draft something up this evening and post it here for approval.

I, for one, am frankly very disappointed that neither the boys nor HABIT had the common inhuman decency to disclose the song that played during the Evan and Nick fight.

Disliked, unsubbed, and messed with the contacts in their phones so that when they try to call each other they get Tharol's phone sex line.

I think a lot of people wrote Alex off a long time ago, shortly after the "will lose his heart" piece came out for Jeff, interpreting it as his brother's death. I don't think anyone is purposely ignoring him, just emotionally distancing themselves from a very likely sad development. Even if you take that part as Jessa's disappearance instead, it seems like all but the MT4 are being killed off, and Alex would be a part of that as well. Do we have a running list of "loose ends" for EMH? The water/beach footage is one, Evan running in the background of an early Steph/CYSTW vid is another. I bet if we started revisiting some of the odd occurrences from the past some of them might make more sense now with the new context. Also, I think someone mentioned this already too but the Outside Help video could be help from the Noah, Us, HABIT, or even a plea for us to help now. I wonder if that is why the radio silence. There is something we need to do to help them that we haven't figured out yet. Maybe going over loose ends we could find something we missed?

I've always said that if there was a way to somehow prevent Alex's death, we should look into it. But really, as an audience we've done all we can do at the moment, or at least all I can think of. There's only so many "watch Alex because THE PROPHECY bro" posts and emails we can send. I'd like to prevent it. I just don't know if it's possible.

The thing is also that Alex and Steph are both... well, out of focus. For some time now. We haven't seen them for ages, and whenever we saw them, they were sort of... out of grasp for us and the story.

Then again... no EMH-contact either... Confused

Right now I feel like any attempt to contact the boys will either result in no answer (as usual) or an undesired, furious response that seperates us more. Neither of which is very favorable. It's like dealing with an injured animal. You can't force them to move, or they run.

Assuming they were to respond to something we sent after this (and assuming HABIT isn't keeping it from them), anything sent should be very carefully worded. This goes without saying, but just a reminder. I do not want our social link to break because of this.

I'm curious, the scene where Evan and Nick seemingly teleport during the chokehold was when Evan heard that voice. Then, he was brought to Baldpate. Are we sure HABIT can teleport people? I feel like from the Corenthal papers that Slendy is a very jealous being. Slendy may have saw HABIT's game as a threat, and intervened. HABIT may have been observing Slendy's reactions to the rape child death battle.

Just another theory to marinate in.

Slendy was around when HABIT was "preparing" Nick for the fight and didn't really do anything to stop him though.

In fact, he kept Nick from running away or killing himself.
