I have been 503'd again. I feel like I'm DDOSing the site myself.

This was clownshoes in a big way. The "coordinates" played NO part in unlocking the cities with the screenings. They all just lit up. I'm wondering if that was their middle finger to those who had figured out the map site last night. In any event, I hope this turns out to be an actual game and not just more crap like this.

Agreed, Rusty. We didn't have to figure anything out really...the sites just showed up. Between that and gofobo this was pretty shoddy...especially compared to the TDK ARG...of course...this could just be some viral marketing..

Operative F0439 Sorry if I'm flooding the forum , but when I was reading back through the 3rd release , the one that identified operation early bird, There was a second code stating operative F0439. I looked up some possible answers and came up with an interesting page that is linked below. It also had 1862 in the title. Does this have any reference, sorry this is my first ARG since the Lost.

All the London IMAX tickets have already gone (surprise, surprise!)
If anyone's got a spare ticket please let me know! Cheers.
P.S. why does the map have holes in it?!

Probably not. The way these usually work is everything works toward something and then later something else will start up. Today we got tickets to the IMAX prologue. Something else will probably surface later.
THe Dark Knight ARG was the best one I've ever played and I know that we are all hoping for anything similar, but I'm pretty sure we aren't getting that this time. I was part of that ARG for over a year and the new movie is going to come out July 20, 2012...it's not going to be the same..
On another note...how long has thedarkknightrises.com had all those numbers been posted? Is it possible that people got them and put them in and that's how the cities got opened up?

That popped up this morning about 15 minutes before the countdown hit zero. I know because I was frantically plugging them into a GPS tracker. LOL! Not that it ended up being necessary.

Okay I swear I saw a screening at the Cathedral City IMAX but now it's only showing Irvine (3 dots what is this Super 8?). Still haven't got a pass. Not sure if I should considering it's quite a drive from San Diego.
Edit: Got 'em! Anyone want to carpool?

Sorry guys, didn't update here, been following at SuperHeroHype. About 10 minutes before OperationEarlyBird hit 0, http://thedarkknightrises.com updated to include an audio broadcast Number Station style listing off coordinate pairs. The recording appears to be approximately 30 minutes long so there are a ton of pairs. The recordings are being loaded from a webpage http://7202012.com/numbers .
When the map came active it was initially blank, we began entering pairs from the recording which populated the indicators on the map. I'm sure we're still missing a bunch of locations, they should continue to pop up.
The locations are IMAX theaters showing an advanced screening of the Prologue, with a link to get free tickets. If you know of an IMAX theater near you that's not appearing, check out the audio or try playing around with your theaters lat-lon.
