Countdown has finished and now it says "It is finally here!" in black text. Anyone heard or seen anything?

In work at the moment so can't really do a whole lot!!
Personally, The countdown ended and nothing happened!!! I tweeted @theflainlings and they told me that the problem was down to "stupid human HTML" which they are still learning.
Imust admit I found that quite funny!!

On their website now there is quite alot more info, and the twitter is regularly updated....

I am confused though because at times they are talking about how much they despise humans.... and other times they are apologising and talking about making the website better "for our convenience..."

Sam can still often be found in his chat btw

I'm trying to visit the chat more often. Time is scarce.

Anyone visited the "The Future" page on the Flainlings page? Another countdown. I sent in an essay since I have no camera.

Just had a look on Sam's mibbit chat room, and on the 9th he changed the topic to "It is starting again."

He doesn't seem to be there right now, so I've left him a message asking what it is that is starting again.

I've also been following theflainlings - http://twitter.com/#!/TheFlainlings and http://twitter.com/#!/SamuelSleeto on twitter where most of the info seems to pop up. The flainlings have been pretty vocal on twitter. I've been asking them some general questions and they always reply.

They've also spoken about their website and said "Our correspondant has told us that some people are not taking the address information seriously, get to the bottom of this or there will be no rewards for anybody."

What rewards?

They also tweeted that "You still will be punished with the rest" even if you submitted all your info to them.

So they are going to punish us? Yet if you go to their website http://theflainlings.com/about.html , in the 'about us' section they say-

"our goal is to help you become better people! That sounds good to you doesn't it? We are of course watching every person every second of every hour of every day. It helps us to better understand who you are as an individual"

Soooo, they want to help us? or punish us? which one?!

And why oh why do they want to understand us as individuals if they are so keen to make everybody work as one...

Also... they say "If we feel you are about to do something wrong, we will try our best to stop you, but in the end you are the only one who can choose what you want to do. In extreme cases, such as Sam, we do have to kill some people to try and stop you from doing anything too extreme"

Why is Sam an extreme case? And why do they have to kill to stop Sam doing anything 'extreme'? I know they killed Jared because he knew about the flainlings, but then, a lot of people know about the flainlings, so why not kill more people..... and why not kill Sam????

And they say they are going to make us 'slaves' yet in the future section of the flainlings.com, http://theflainlings.com/future.html, they state as part of their competition that "We want you all to be happy, no matter what Sam says..."

I think I may do the essay as well... nothing seems to come of any of the previous videos I've sent as part of this (they were to sam though)

What do you think that 'winning' will entail? I have submitted any info or anything yet..... I wonder where this whole thing is going....

The reccommended songs section seems a bit odd too - maybe it will be helpful to watch as there could be clues in it for the future??????

EDIT: forgot to add that the flainlings mention that they have their human correspondent now...... Sam mentioned in his tumblr, back in november, that he made a new friend at Jared's funeral, Shane Jude..... http://samuelsleeto.tumblr.com/post/12930333073/its-been-a-while connection maybe?

I have gathered various information about this. This all the important information I got. And also, the messages that the Flainlings tell us in their youtube videos were never supposed to be decoded for the ARG, Sam told me.

Sam's friend Jared was working for the Flainlings. I asked why they killed him but Sam wouldn't tell me.

"Today our humancorrespondant felt that it would be funny to try to go wake up Sam. We are not laughing. Our humancorrespondant is one of us. We will be punished for his actions. He even decided to call the police and tell them that there was a body out in the open. We had to stop them from doing anything and waking up Sam. That was one tall task.

We have another mission for you humans. We have a sneaking suspicion that our humancorrespondant is up to something, and is hiding something from us. The first person to figure it out and message it to us through the submit button on our tumblr, or tweet us will be rewarded"

They have mentioned in their twitter that the 'something' can be something physically hidden or something mentally hidden.

As a sidenote, on twitter they have mentioned that they "have beaks" and that they "eat the equivalent of chicken and fish"......... and that they celebrate christmas!!!!!!

They continue to blame any glitches on HTML rather than man-up and take responsibility for mistakes. lol.

Any bets as to what will happen at the end of the countdown?? Any ideas about what the secret could be??
