Poll: Are you still looking for the gold I'm curious to see how many people are still actively looking for the gold. These forums seem to get a lot of views, but I wonder how many people are just checking to see if anyone is close.

I think a lot of people are waiting for those of us who are still on this boards to figure it out for them and how this puzzle works.

I think you're right. There are only a handful of people that participate in the discussions. Based on the view counts, I think there are 25-50 lerkers who aren't here to contribute anything. Perhaps it is time to limit the discussion to those willing to contribute.

Sure, why work when you have someone else doing it for you?. Not for nothing but if you read what I went through and a few others on here quite a few people on here just want the answers. They don't want to work for it. Why share with people who don't want to work? I'm sure you have put a lot of work into this puzzle just as I have. I think if you want to just post the pages of Ep 6 fine. Since they are hard to read. We'll keep our information to ourselves. Of course I haven't shared everything as I am sure you haven't either.
Decoding the The Larry King, The WPPT, and the Monkey Business is going to be a lot of work.
As you know I am working with Tammy. I have not discussed with her how she would like to proceed. I don't think it would be fair to her if I decide to give out any more information. I believe I found how this puzzle works. Still not 100% sure. It is very involved. If I am correct then I will tell you we will be here till spring because it is a lot of work.
Feel free to contact me if you want, but keep in mind I have to discuss things with Tammy.

here. can't vote since im not registered. haven't made progress in a while, but ccl's recent posts have gotten my wheels spinning again.
i also think there are a lot of people who talk a good game but are full of hot air around here, so dont be too quick to discount the input of those of us who arent just posting to read our own words...

Life intervened and I didn't post for awhile but am working on it still. The purpose of a site like this is to involve people so all can benefit from each other's insights, the "hive mind." So I think it's counter-productive to wall off conversation. The bottom line is that while someone may think s/he has it worked out, no one has the gold in hand.

Fair enough. It's just frustrating because there was a lot of participation a few months back and now this forum is on life support. I guess I was late to the party.

RE: Are you still looking for the gold? I've honestly been working on it again only since my post about a week ago on the Episode 6 forum.
It's hard at this point because a lot of people have figured out most of the "easier" (that's a bad word to use) clues.
I haven't had anything worth contributing as of yet so I've been quiet. It's a Catch 22 because your guys' ideas help me look for other things that might be there even though I've found nothing that makes sense. At the same time you are giving up information without getting anything back. I completely understand your apprehension.
Hopefully sometime soon I will figure SOMETHING worthwhile out

still lurking, but not really participating any more. not being in new york really handicapped me, and i lost momentum on solving the puzzle.
like many people, i'm not just waiting around to "steal ideas - i just want to know when someone has found it and how they did it...

Don't Think You Need To Be Here I think most of this can be done via the internet. Yes, it really does help to get visuals on the ground in the area, but I think most of this needs to be done on line.

I'm still working this. I flew up to New York City last weekend but it wasn't where I thought it was. Well I'm convinced it's there but having a hard time zeroing in on it.

I check in here every once in a while. But to be honest, at this point I think someone is just as likely to find it by accident as it is for someone to find it from the videos.
And then there is the elephant in the room of...did anything ever really get hidden?
not saying if I believe that or not, but it is the big, obvious question that I haven't seen addressed on here.

Chest never taken off ship? I remember saying something along those lines. Especially when they promise they will show us those coins in every video. In the end, it seems like they had the chest in every episode, so how can it be "lost"
