I have found strong indications that this "guy" is Russian.

1) In the website HTML source code, the hit counter is hosted by liveinternet.ru/yadro.ru, and looking at the website, the Russian flag is second in the language row.
2) His laptop, an Asus Eee PC (1001PXD?), has a Russian QWERTY keyboard.
3) The same laptop is installed with a Russian Windows XP (Start Menu clearly says "пуск").
4) The wireless av transmitter he's using is a "no-name" thing made in China, according to the web.
5) During his first drive, in the Mercedes, the buildings have stuff written in Cyrillic.
6) The speed limit in Russia, on the highways with dual carriageway, is 110 kph.
7) His backpack also seems to have stuff written in Cyrillic, however, it's really hard to see.

Stuff i couldn't seem to find any information on;
Which airliner/airplane is the first one? Maybe Transaero Airlines? Boeing 737? The plane has blue winglets.
Yellow battery has something like "RHZND 2250" written on it.

One other thing, I don't believe the first guy and the guy on the bike are the same one. The first one has a big scar on his right hand, but the guy on the bike doesn't and the color of his skin also seems to be darker.

EDIT:
Can't be Transaero Airlines. The have all their engines painted in blue.
