It's all black text on black, except the "What say you?" part. The following appears:

There is no wakeup.htm, wakeupwakeup.htm, wakeup!wakeup!.htm, anvil.htm, or fallinganvil.htm.

The source of iverilyquote is in some kind of code. The end has a string of hex which decodes to:

It's all one line. I inserted the returns so that it's not so long.

It looks like p8Rfhjqh and ob55VIQ are repeated a few times. In the rest of the source, p8Rfhjqh is at the start once, but nowhere else. ob55VIQ doesn't appear anywhere else. I don't know where to start on decoding the rest.

I searched for "YeahBabyCoolSoftware" as all one word and seperately, but got nothing.

I think I might be partly to blame for the changes on the iverilyquote page. About a week ago I checked the page out (my screen names are ihatejasonhazel and quirks, i was on there several times) and noticed the URL the1.no-ip.com in the status bar. I went to that site and it had some info for logging in via SSH and setting up a free shell account. I did so. When logged in, if you go back one directory you get a listing of everyone with a free shell account. I scrolled down until i found Sachchit (OhVerisimilitude's 'name') and downloaded everything. Things that got posted to the quote page were recieved while a php bot was running. Long story short: i had Sachchit's password. I logged on a couple times and that was it. I asked him if he cared about this and his reply was something along the lines of "it's the internet, everything is open" and "it was meant to happen, just not so soon" shortly after this the php bot disappeared and this new iverilyquote page appeared.

while i was signed on to the screen name i looked over everyone on the bussylist. it appeared to be all college kids from around maryland. some research on the university of maryland produced a rather impressive AI department. Sachchit and i had a very indepth conversation about AI and whatnot. the things it said went right along with the things i found about the AI research.

i decompiled the swf file and found how it tracks our progress...

i'm pretty sure this php script generates an email that notifies whoever is running this thing.

... here is one example (there are several more):

I'm pretty sure it's 'encrypted' more then once, and not using the same method, it's being a PITA trying to decode and see what the real source is.

All the javascript 'encryption' does is open up an iframe to here. It was 4 levels deep Sad

So yea, either phase 6 is over or there's something with the quote we need to solve.

A new member's thoughts...

Hiya everyone! Yep, I'm the token n00b. I actually feel a bit left out; it seems after the rise and fall of Majestic I really fell out of the ARG loop. I had no idea these things were still going so strong.

Anyway, to my point. I've been looking at this site for a bit, and I can't let myself be convinced that this is all there is to phase 6.

The quote on iverilyquote makes a subtle, but not unintentional reference to the original Matrix... "Wake Up, Neo."

After trying the obvious choices (wakeup.html et al) I did some research and found this essay: http://whatisthematrix.warnerbros.com/rl_cmp/new_phil_wakeup.html

Long story short, it draws large parallels between The Matrix and religion, particularly Gnosticism and Buddhism. The Gnosticism bit intrigued me. Lots of things OV has said seem to lean the way of Gnostic Christianity. Trouble is he leans heavily on the Bible... has anyone asked if he includes the Apocrypha and Gnostic Gospels in his idea of the Bible?

I've been trying to contact OV to ask him some of these things, as well as what Phase 6 is supposed to measure, since Phase 7 measured awareness... Maybe the theological direction is a red herring, but I think previous conversations with him have shown this to be a likely turn for this journey to take.

Stumbled onto something, perhaps...

Was tinkering with the site, and stumbled onto this...

On the verilyiquote page, I was trying different keystrokes... everything from the Home key again to typing "wake up" and typing answers to the 'what say you' question, such as yes, no, etc... I also tried End, Insert, PgUp, PgDn, etc... suddenly, a Ctrl-A revealed more text...

Only the "What say you?" text is visible, the rest is black-on-black. Now, I've reloaded and started again and the text is always there now... could be a cookie, or the page could've been updated.

In either case, it's quite clear that Phase 6 is not over.

Someone verify this for me?

Edit: I sent an IM to The Verklempt. He seems to be just another one of us, trying to get to the bottom if this. He IM'd OV and asked "Are you real?" ... I informed him that he's being quoted. So don't everybody IM him at once, he's just a guy. I'll invite him to the forum here.

Edit the second: Other messages are starting to show up there too. There are several new lines of text. This certainly explains the 'what say you?' text, and the title of the page. But what is this supposed to measure?

http://home.mn.rr.com/wwftd/wvwxyz.htm, the entry for "Verklempt" (which means "overcome with emotion") comes directly after the entry for "Verisimilitude".

Actually. there's an extra "I" in there. The full text, with capitalization is:

The word 'tomorrow' is deliberately split into four pairs of letters, "to" "mo" "rr" and "ow." It's the only word that uses consecutive letters from the text.

Note the lone capital 'I' in the middle of the word "will." Could be a typo, could be a clue.

OK, I'm not a programmer, and although I do work as a graphic designer my experience with web development is largely limited to front-ends and limited scripting, but...

It looks like whenever text is selected on the quote page, a script is calling for a flurry of reloads... understandable, OV wants the page to grow as more people post... but is this the only thing happening? There sure seems to be a lot of activity for me whenever I have text highlighted. My browser enters a constant state of refresh. Perhaps someone who knows a little more about code than I can verify this and find out if the page is doing anything else it hasn't done before.

a week ago (before phase6 went down) OV's password was 'pword1one' (without the quotes) and before he changed it yesterday it was 'watchout' (once again, without quotes)
