Oh, interesting idea.

I may even speculate that it might me one of the Fairmont versions? After all Corenthal did not necessarily say they were dead... he said they had succumbed. When the rake was in Alex's closet that night it was speaking... didn't it sound like "Help, Brother". Much like the current iterations all call each other "brother". And it knows Evan's name...

No, because in one of the letters, Corenthal discribes Linnie's "personal demon" as "being more feral than the others," implying that it is an entity all of its own. Although I like the idea of it being HABIT's shell, and I have proposed that theory before, but it just doesn't work.

 		She was living with Evan but when Nick attacked he sent her to stay with Jeff. That's all we know.

We all have no idea reg. Steph. Could be the truth, could be an unreliable piece of info.

And I am still reluctant reg. the "personal demons", as we have only seen three of four so far.

Yeah, all I'm saying is that he's denied any direct association with them. My theory is that he, the Rake, and The Slenderman are all chasing after the same goal, and that the boys are the key to that goal.
