Peopleburg© Seems something new is brewing From the people who brought you You Sucjk at Photoshop (An ARG played prior here on unfiction) comes a possible spin-off.
It's taken over three years, but it seems finally that Peopleburg© is about to get going.
Two updates from the Donnie Hoyle character of the original series on Facebook over the last 3 days made me look into it and I've had responses from them already. Their Twitter account signed me up to their beta within an hour of following them and their Facebook page has started issuing personalised comments to those who have 'liked' it over the past week.
The Peopleburg© website doesn't look like it's changed much since I last saw it, feel free to tooth-comb it's Wayback archive if you fancy it, and I've yet to receive a reply to an email I sent to the displayed email.
The only recent hits I can see from a basic Google search are this one which appears to be a bone fide Portuguese Photoshop tutorial which happens to list a previous 'You Suck' as an additional tutorial, this video on a site which seems to be an RSS feeder site from the original YouTube video , a guild subsection page of a WoW forum, a mention in this apparently random Facebook comments section and a couple of other feeder sites - all-in-all not much, if anything, by design.
Interestingly though on their Twitter page they state that they watched Notch (The creator of Minecraft) design a game live to the public, within 48 hours too, over at Twitch.tv on December 17th which, allegedly according to the comments section, some of which can be viewed here with others linked off that page.
I've watched a fair whack of it but I don't see it tying into their campaign, yet at least.
I think this might be early doors - but feel free to chip in with any and all that you find out!
Thanks in advance!!

They, Peopleburg, 'retweeted' Araenna's tweet "@Peopleburg Cannot wait for beta sign ups! Gon' be sweet."
They seem to be a new Twitter member and are following only 4 people, Peoplebeg being one of them. Not sure if it's a clue - just documenting it in case someone comes up with something.

Ah well, not quite a trout for me but a wet fish for sure!
Does show they are active though, and since the Twitter was found from following Donnie Hoyle's Facebook link it would seem that Peoplesburg are at least putting their feelers out to welcome people into whatever it isthey are creating.
I'll keep a eye out for more!

I have never heard of You Suck At Photoshop but this caught my attention. I sent a reply and liked them on Facebook and tweeted in their general direction so we'lll see if I get any nibbles
Looking at their facebook page and the minecraft pictures, it looked like someone was building something in minecraft? Maybe there'll be a minecraft element to this...
