[Timewaster/Puzzle] Challanging Comic - Sandra and Woo
There is a prize.

A webcomic I read updated today with a insanely coded comic. there is a prize going of a fully coloured drawing for decoding the sixth speech bubble.

http://www.sandraandwoo.com/2011/12/29/0338-a-challenging-comic/

there was three other prizes - but people have already solved them.

I can never resist a cipher challenge.

Bubble one requires more familiarity with the comic than I have, but I think I have 2 of the 6 letters needed for this answer.

Bubble two is not a cipher (and I'll have to trust the native over Google)

Bubble three... I have no idea what to do with that.

Bubble four is easy to crack.

Bubble five... I don't know if that needs to be cracked.

Bubble six -- I'll work on it some more.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Looking at each color's name with a program like Photoshop or GIMP is a good place to start.

How I started it (edited to clarify a portion):
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
With the context provided by the other bubbles and the comic itself, I guessed that the first three words were "The newspaper editor." From there, I looked at the shifts to the right from plaintext to ciphertext for each letter and found a pattern.

Sorry Lystella, I didn't realize that it was you that solved it.
Congratulations and please post a pick of your prize.

Probably from not understanding the genesis link, I got started down the "The crossword puzzle" path Sad

Just that I failed to make the connection between the published winner and your illustrious self.

"Make the connection" reminds me of this: (still cracks me up)

No worries and that's a funny vid! The sound the guy makes is surprisingly close to the real thing in my opinion, especially with phone call sound quality XD

Enjoy the New Year as well! \(^O^)/

further spoiler for bubble three

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
not so much the color name, as in "blue" or "red", but maybe some other way or describing it

Answer:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the number of the grayscale is coded for an ascii value. The puzzle reads "I accidentally read Marvin <triple> the poop jokes in that strip are the only legal torture worse than waterboarding
