How much $$ is this playing this game costing you? I don't know about other people, but I've spent more than a few dollars paying for parking, gas, and long distance phone calls in pursuit of making axons got hot. What about other people?
Besides all the time and brainpower expended, what other costs incurred playing this game?

Answering the pay phones at UCI (there are four) costs 50 cents. Parking is $1 per hour.
Other then gas, that's about it.
Not bad bang for my entertainment buck I guess.
Though making sure I have enough in change is a pain some weeks.

I've managed to keep it mostly pretty cheap. I walk to the axons so no cost there, or take the bus free with my student ID.
I did spend maybe $5 on low-budget props for the GPAA photo that we sent in on 10/12. We were next to a goodwill store right after talking to Melissa live, so figured why not.
Other than that I don't think I've spent any money on the game besides one cell phone call to the voicemail. Quite the good entertainment value!
Now if you factor in lost productivity its another story entirely...

thank goodness parking is free at Der Waffle House, but I cannot enter their fine establishment week after week and not reward them for tolerating me... $6/week on brunch. I got it good.

I've managed to keep my cost down to roughly $1 a day for parking at the U. I would've parked in paid parking anyway, as I've got classes around the same times, but I stay after class and go early to answer axons WAY too often for this student's buget.

I surf the web on the city's internet connection. I have a trasnit check, which is an unlimited ride MEtrocard which I need to get to work and comes out of my pay before taxes. I make sure not to lose any productivity cause I just started here a few months ago. So basically this costs me nothing and is a lot of fun.

Gas: Negligible. My axon is less than a mile from my house.
Red Balloons: $2.00
Definitely not bad for my entertainment dollar.
