Mayhap you should stick with putting it on the name tag.

OT but i love mayhap i try to work it into my day to day conversations my wife has asked me to stop and my boss has noted that "a man in my position shouldn't use that word" ----i don't want to grow up

mayhap is a great word!!! along with some others

"Mayhaps it would behoove us to not make assessments in such an irrevocable mannor; our data does not lead to a foregone conclusion."

foregone is one of my favorite words, i love using it in the past tense "forewent"
"I forewent traveling to the axon, because it was raining."

hmm, that can work for you, but us guys need something just for us.
what guy doesn't love a good karate movie? [miyagi] Axon/Axoff [/miyagi]

when it comes to men, the more disgusting the better (I am not one of them, but speaking in generalizations... hehehe, so instead of calvin doing his #1 on a chevy to the ford logo, how about an axon instead? (pardon if that was crude Smile )

what guy isn't in need of more pickup lines? If "I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome. How about you?", "Hey! Didn't we go to the prom together?", or even "You must be Jamaican, because Jamaican me crazy" have not been working for you, then trust me, guys... what woman would not swoon for "this axon's hot and so R U!"

I've always been partial to;

"Nice shoes, wanna Censored ?"

Very Happy

((I'm sorry, I'm just a font of one liners this week... I'll try to be more verbose next time.))

Hehe, my favorite pickup line is pretty straight forward:
Quote:
Hi! Can I buy you several drinks?

Never had an opportunity to use it though...

Considering my group of people, the more gothic line...

Nice boots, wanna Censored?

Oh, going back to the original topic for just one moment... Very Happy

I was up at National Coney Island and had asked my waitress a question about something (I cant even remember now). The girl was kinda a ditz and told me she didn't know. I proceeded to giggle and try to exlpain Bev, the HotNCold dispenser, to the poor girl who looked confused. Eventually, I just said a couple of lines and explained it was from an internet show. Wow, recapping that makes me feel that much more of a total ILB fanatic.

They have them at CafePress. Although, it is sort of cold for the little tank tops. Hmm. Mayhap you should stick with putting it on the name tag. (And where do you go to school that they make you wear name tags?)

Now, repeat after me: AXONS ARE HOT, AND SO AM I.

Go, and sin no more.

Ahhh, annother satisfied consumer...

:ponder: What happened to the first two lines?

"Roses are red,
Violets are blue..."

:duck:

Just try explaining the ILB DVD to....

In the vein of "Just try explaining this to your mom..."

After giving the passphrase, I held the coveted ILB DVD in my hands. Reading it, I saw the logos for "Halo 2", "Xbox Live", and the words "Pre Release Software" and "Microsoft" on the bottom. So I thought, hey, maybe this *is* a prerelease version of Halo 2. So I called up a gamer friend of mine, who I haven't actually tried to get interested in ILB for reasons that will become clear, and got him to let me come over and try it out in his Xbox.

So I show up, we try it, nope, it's a DVD after all. So we put it in his DVD player and start navigating the menu. My friend's first reaction: "Where's the Halo stuff?" He's already bored, so I'm keeping it quick. Intro text. My friend: "Payphones? What does that have to do with Halo?" Keeping going...Hmm... chapters 1-12, and "farewell," woot that's new... try that....

My friend: "How come there's no pictures?". Ok, I'll play the whole thing at work tomorrow. We get to the images. "Who are all these Nerds?"

*sigh*

I had a really fun time with this game, and reading y'all in the forums, guys. Your dedication made it so exciting even to lurkers like myself. I mean, I started to work on one of the last puzzles, checked the forum, and *they're all already solved*. Driving around trying to find axons, and then finally getting the last one yesterday. Reading the last chapters (on theBruce) was emotional, and then catching up on the forum thread where you guys caught each wav file live really brought it home. And so far, it doesn't seem to have gotten me fired for excessive websurfing at work. *whew!* Peace out.[/spoiler]
