It's possible that Milo was just more "aware"/"supernaturally sensitive" than Noah, and that's why he started remembering and noticing, and being driven crazy by the visitations. Noah would never (or rarely) see anything odd during Milo's visits when Milo would be running in terror. It wasn't until he started doing some investigating that he either opened himself up to seeing the weird crap going around him, or that once the Observer and Collective were done with Milo, their schedule was freed up to start full-time harassing Noah.

Edit: The cremation note was interesting. Assuming I'm remembering right and Milo was Jewish, I thought - if you're devout, at least - cremation wasn't acceptable because the body was not intact. Was his mom trying to prevent Milo being "used" after his death?

Edit #2: Looked it up - certain movements like Reform Judaism are OK with cremation but burial is preferred.

From what I can gather, these members of the collective aren't essentially dead, though I don't think death is an obstacle for them. I am so on-board for this Firebrand=Milo thing after the cremation comment.

Look at the names, though.
-Deadhead's name is deadhead, probably because of the skull thing.

-Observer's name was sentinel, maybe for the eyewear.

Firebrand has to have something fiery connected to him then, and A cremation is a lot more notable then just a burn-mark.

Whoa, I just realised i've had an account for something like half a year, and have only posted 18 times. I guess lurker habits die hard :/

On an on-topic note, has anybody thought that the Observer (and, OOG, Adam) are misleading us with an "old friend" ? He could have simply meant Kevin, and then Kevin is the Observer, and all along it was that easy. Milo stays dead, gives us some spec fuel in the meantime.

Even considering that, i'm hoping it won't be so predictable....i'm enjoying the "Milo is Firebrand, Observer is somebody else and Kevin is a scapegoat, somebody is Noah from the future" theories

The only "lead" i've found so far might be in INTERRUPTION when the Observer says "The Virus is spreading." Perhaps this is the same Virus mentioned in MLA?
