Does anyone here not mind waiting for the next episodes?
I love anticipation and speculation

Hey,

Just wondering...does anyone here not mind waiting for the next episode of the various Slendy series? I love speculating and reading other people's speculation and just the general anticipation. I'm probably alone in this, but heh.... Smile

People can only speculate for so long before no posting video.

I must say, though the tension can be fun, all the speculation can make me antsy.

Plague doctors all stare Kempest post more think.

Theres probably one more reason for waiting the computers rebel during peoples rendering. Often people result in screaming to heavens youtube course has gone up and left fine call techinal people there. Plus the special making effects have been known to not help resulting in people yelling and posting delays keeping the said video. Course bad weather, beating actors ego, and techinal general problems are so fun in hotel.

Some wait is good, yes. But when asking this question there are a few things to consider.
For starters. How long is the wait? If it gets too long, some of us get a bit too eager. And, too long of a wait can also build the viewers' expectations of just what quality of work they're going to actually view. A standard that many times is very difficult to live up to in a mere matter of--sometimes twelve--minutes. Which brings up the quantity. The length of the wait can also decide just how MUCH of any given series we're going to want to see. Example. Months and months of a wait translating to a mere two minutes seems unfair. I Feel jipped if the three month off-season is all a big wait-fest to see two minutes of work. Another factor? What are they DOING with their time off? Busy with real life? Cool. Busy with making and working on new episodes? Ok. But if you're "episodes ahead", why make us wait for more than three weeks? And for that matter. If you're going to already have the last hour and a half to two and a half hours filmed, here's a thought. Have some damn business sense about it! Make a movie. DON'T pre-release it on the net. Sell the dvd's and make some money off of this. Hello? Am I the only one thinking of this?

Yes, because you're the one thinking of selling DVDs with little to no market share. Marble Hornets sold tens of thousand of the season one DVD. Would that have happened had they decided to film it all and release it at once? Of course not.

Actually using your brain is a good idea.

MH is currently gearing up for season three. We clearly know of its existence. Season one? Sure, not necessarily the best of ideas to do that. By season two or three? Yeah, definitely. By then the word has gotten out and you've already got a fanbase.

I can wait. It's just that after a while, I start to forget what's happening in the series and I don't follow the updates quite as well (This is mainly to EMH which contains a lot of details). I also lose hype for a new video after a month or so, except if we have a release date announced. Whenever the video is finally released, I am not excited as I thought I would've been. Confused

Entries > Movie.

It fits in a much better format, and fits the story much more then Jay editing a long movie together while being Slendy stalked.

Also, What the fuck is up with all the bitchy-ness? I disagree with him, but I won't go being all snappy. Same with the creator thing. I don't think anyone was debating they didn't have lives.

Think for once thread being productive.

People often yell hate the wait but lots of movies have like huge wait course they have lots money and real actors to yell there.

Christian Bale thankful not video.
Some people also have techinal problems making the film think.
