there's a MIDI embedded in danapicnic

Sounds like score from some movie. Possibly by James Horner. Quality of the MIDI makes me think that it was exported from the original composing tool rather than recreated. Methinks Marty called in a favor.

Nobody I've played it for has a clue what it's from though, besides one person who suggested it might be some Robin Hood movie.

[12:39:00] <Cortana> it's the New World SYmphony
[12:39:04] <Cortana> by Dvorak

Just posting it for clarity's sake. ;P

Second from the top, Far Right (--n, -s-, ---)

it's Le Chapeau de Paille (The Straw Hat) by Peter Paul Rubens

That's Dvorak's Largo from Symphony #9 I think.

And maybe not. It's proving rather difficult to find out who did some of these portraits, and what year. I think what's important is who they are.

And, of course, the tic-tac-toe letter arrangements.

Okay. George Washington.

I think we're probably supposed to find the designers for these items. Who knows fashion?

I think for the images in chloe and margaret the routes will each spell out a letter giving two words, first of 6 letters, second of 7. I'm looking for a decent map to test the theory on now.

the third one on the right looks like something from Tommy Hilfiger. Although I'm not exactly a fashion expert. Razz

It occurs to me that words were put to the Largo, and the resulting song was named "Going Home." Some people are <sigh> more familiar with it that way than in its original form.
