I think that's kind of the point. You can sit back and enjoy it on the mindless "popcorn" level, OR you can engage in the side stuff, and experience it in a different way. It's like Grand Theft Auto... just do all the missions and get through the game, having fun that way, or explore the world, step into the little shops, drive around, see what other things you can find, etc. It works for both types of audience. So just focus on what you enjoy about it and leave the "dumb side-game" stuff to the rest of us.

Yeah, it kind of started out that way, but pretty much up until this video, it got harder and harder to keep track of. Remember that a lot of the people who watch EMH started out watching Marble Hornets because John Fischer (their cousin) told them to. Many of the people who watch EMH are completely unfamiliar with the concept of an ARG, and consequently are unable to figure out why the crap the characters refuse to tell them what's going on. That's why on September fourteenth, 2011, they joined unfiction, because they were fed up with all this scattered nonsense.
What to us here on unfiction makes perfect sense, outsiders who are expecting just another youtube series see Vince talking about "that thing that happened," while scratching their heads because they are pretty sure that they've never heard of that thing before.
If you don't know what I mean, go back and watch all the videos (just on the EMH channel) and try to make sense of them out of context.

EDIT: Speaking which, I'm thinking about sending them an email asking about the aftermath of this video. I'm guessing they're sick of all the WHO WAS UPLOAD messages, and that's less important than finding out what actually happened anyway.

Yeah, I'll admit I only came here after getting into The Slender Man mythos, and I'd honestly never even heard of ARG's before. As is obvious, I'm pretty much only here for the videos, and I try to keep abreast on the various outside updates on the wiki. Sorry if I seemed overly negative in my post last night. Just got dumped and was feeling frustrated.

I'm doubting that it was Evan who killed Steph/whoever was in the house since I forget. It must of ben one helluva brawl between Evan and The Rake, so it's pretty possible that she was tossed aside.

ALSO I REFUSE TO BELIEVE HE'S DEAD HE WAS JUST WOUNDED. Crying or Very sad

Hmmm, well honestly... I would be surprised if this event is even mentioned by them (to us at least).

We've seen them in dangerous situations before (Habit coming at Jeff with a cleaver, Jeff and Vinnie being sideswept by a car, Jeff's suicide) and they NEVER seem to be injured (and it's never mentioned to us by them)...as if something is always intervening with reality to make sure they DON'T die.

However, this blows Vinnie's theory out of the water that they were safe from the rake...

Just noticed something at the end with the distortion, you can see The Rake crawling away with his arm raised, almost like it was injured. Also, the camera is moving, could that be Jeff, Vinnie, Evan or something else filming.

"You know, Waldorf, that angry little pale guy freaks me out."
"He does?"
"Yeah, The Rake does too."
"DOHOHOHOHO!"

Yeah, so ima go ahead and send that email now...
Also, somebody on YT had an interesting theory that the EMH symbol symbolized four entities chasing the same goal. The Hybrids, HABIT, the Rake, and Slenderman. I'm guessing the Hybrids don't know what the goal is, though.

In one of the leaked videos, I think.

What worries me is the lack of explanation at the end of the video. You would think they'd tell us kinda what happened and whos alive.

The horn is got me thinking two things;

Either the animalistic tendencies of the rake were used against him (I.E. Anything bigger, louder, generally anything that seems like more of a threat= back the-fuck off.) or, as someone previously pointed out, this being a case of pavlov-ian learning on the half of the rake, and he thought he heard the same sound that the Slenderman invokes, which is something bigger and possibly more of a threat to the rake then the boys themselves.
---
HABIT, I don't know his involvement in this is. It's his M.O. his (suspected) watch-dog at the scene, yet his poster boy beats the shit out of the rake, or at-least fends him off, and his dog goes through an open window, whether motivated, or unmotivated, not important. ....Maybe since Evan killed "Stretch Armstrong given flesh" Nick, he's putting him to the harder test, to have him fight, fend-off, or kill something that isn't human, does not has empathy(Controlled or not, instincts are instincts), and will kill you to feed and taste your flesh.

Or maybe this is just some large ploy by HABIT to fuck with the boys. I've never really felt I could nail HABIT's actions. In a Freudian perspective, HABIT is all Id. no Ego. or Superego. Just constant desire and fulfillment at other people's expenses. (Have to say, There is something respectable in that.)

If we could only crack him open, and really get a feel of what he wants("Perfect Shell"), and how he aims to procure it(in detail), I think we have a shot at getting him, for capture at the very least, by just playing on that one detail.
---
Well-wishes to the boys on seeing everyone okay in this.
