Sorry about the rushing away without saying hello. I've been following this ARG for a bit now, and have been watching intently trying to catch up on the events nd picking the right time to help out.

I assumed the Symbol Φ Was significant, as DNC uses many Greek Symbols throughout his messages and videos, and as far as I can see, Φ is not used once apart from signing his "Name". I also noticed that the letter "Y" is used sparingly in his messages - this could link together in the fact that traditionally there is no Greek alphabetic equivalent to the letter "Y".

I'm not sure whether the whole "Zodiac" idea as a motive is still in use, but this also hs a strong link to Ancient Greek Mathematics/Philosophy.

Forgive me if I go on about this, but my field in university is Ancient History and Mathematics.

After attempting the Yellow Card translation using the letter as a cypher, I came to the same conclusion of garbled nonsense. It seems as though even a backwards translation {eg where G = H or whichever other way} would still result in something alien. Do you notice how though, that in the picture, it appears as if it has been folded?

Another thing, following up on my Ancient Greek {see previous posts} theory, i twittered downthispath a message which read:

Two hours later he messaged me back - simply :

In the cypher ≤ translates to the letter "P" - but I don't think somehow this is downthispath's point. I think the point somehow is that "≤" means "equal to or lesser than"

@Badger- I like the "lesser than" idea better, he says that in one of his videos. "Why do i use "u" and not "you"... because u are not greater than Me" Ect...
How far into the videos are you, btw?

Oh, and new video! Trying to figure it out right now... The mention of videos being shown give possible reason for both the MDT videos in general and the "plastic-wrap guy" from... I forget. #42 or something.

There's also yet another mention of rituals being possibly connected to the killings, as the Catholic church did for the Dad as well.

She refers to herself as Madeline. She seems to feel that it's very likely the tapes are related to Scientology.

Hm...All this Scientology stuff makes me think about the fair game policy.

One of the policies in Scientology basically states that you can do anything to an enemy of Scientology. You can harass them, sue them, or....destroy them.

It makes me wonder, what if the head people in Scientology trained people to destroy enemies of Scientology? What if they trained people to kill for them? I mean, even the average Scientologist is taught that you can be as cruel as you want to a "suppressive person" or enemy of Scientology. I actually read this story, and something that stuck out to me was this quote: "You can not commit overts on Suppressive People." (Overt being "an evil or Suppressive (damaging to Scientology) act.") If they taught that to regular members, it could totally be possible that they taught a group of people that killing is good, that it's "cleaning the planet" to kill some people.

EDIT: With DNC's latest twitter posts, it seems even more likely. One of the big things about Scientology is that they claim the world is falling apart and that they're there to save it. That's one of the ways they convince people to work for the Sea Org.

If we assume this, we an also assume that "æ" = "U" - as in the Yellow Card there is a passage " X æ X "

So, yeah, this thing gets disturbing - i've caught up with the occurances, and have been twittering around downthispath's account and people who correspond with them. Messed up.

I think i'm going to take a break for a while, I'm pretty sure what I got in way of a translation is pretty fubar.
