The Rake's face seems...deformed, like it was mutilated. I know there will be claims about how that seems natural for a creature like the rake, but what about the company it keeps? HABIT is clearly a sadist, and from his personality, I don't think he wants it only "some of the time".

The flesh on the lip is gone, maybe from biting of the lips(Out of pain, pleasure, or even anticipation of the hunt?), or even severing. There also seems to be some sort of scarring dent on where the lip should be. Discoloration in odd,yet specific locations(Assuming the rake has human physiology; on the neck, near the carotid[?] and up to the face.), could be burn marks. Severely darkened eyes, it's possible it doesn't sleep, but I'm wagering its the angle of the camera. A strange flap of flesh, wrapping around the head, looking like it connects to the ear. Maybe an large vein, like others that more visible in the closer photo. Face looks human-esque, except for the nose, and the redness of the mouth. The nose could have been born that way, but I doubt the red tones in the mouth are natural. Could be evidence of internal bleeding, or the grimmer idea of it was recently feeding.

It could be possible that this thing was indeed once human, or born human, but The Slenderman looks human, but I doubt he is, so The Rake's humanity is still up in the air.

Yeah, with the exception of Evan they kind of took that in stride.

I guess you can probably attribute that to Jeff's general shellshock and both of those guys' coping mechanisms. But I don't know how close they were supposed to be to Jessie.

Vinnie managed to go back to creeping me out in this video. If Evan hadn't been so vocal about not filming the body, Vinnie probably would have run in there to film her. That's just a really weird reaction to me. It didn't help that Vinnie seemed to have little emotional reaction to what happened. People are probably going to call it poor acting, but it seemed like a deliberate choice to me. Not surprised at Jeff's reaction, since he acts like someone shut off his emotion chip half the time.

I think most of Jeff's reactions are on his face, especially back at the cabin.

With Vinnie, IDK what's going on. I did get a bit of a chill at some of the end dialogue, but I don't know. He's made himself into the glue of the group, maybe that supercedes anything else in terms of his own responses. Judging by the social dynamics they've always had he's obviously been doing that for a long time, well before they began shooting anything.

I find it pretty weird they all just walked away... didn't contact anyone, just left. AND left Vin's and Evan's blood and Jeff's fingerprints at a crime scene.

And Evan's voice got rather dangerously HABIT-like while protesting Vin going in... was he really hiding something else? After all I rather thought it was the "Slendy Trio" orchestrating the murder of their friends and family...

I don't think Evan is feigning grief anymore than he was feigning fear when they were heading over. I suspect his version of the story is true - he fought the Rake, which had already mauled poor Jessie.

People assume that whenever Evan gets violent that it's "HABIT taking over," that Evan checks out, and that it's all sinister and evil and wanting to hurt his friends. I think it's much more complicated than that. If Evan is actually being influenced by HABIT, then that aspect of himself has apparently become so innate that it's almost indistinguishable from his own consciousness and emotions, needs, etc. He wants to live, so he defends himself from his friend and ends up killing him without meaning to. He wants to save Jessie, who he cares about, so he fights the Rake with all the ferocity of both HABIT and himself.

The way I see it, everything he does for himself, all that power and rage, is just getting him more and more entwined with the entity if he is in fact its host. He's fighting for himself and his friends, but he's just being dug in deeper without realizing it or being able to stop it. I absolutely believe his grief and pain is real. That's not the issue. The issue is not always being able to know where he stops and HABIT could begin.

As for clean-up and cover-up, I assume Slendy will take care of it again, as he did at the hospital. There will be a media blackout and the police will be nudged in the other direction. I suspect they could post anything they wanted online at this point and Slondors would cover it up from official scrutiny.

I didn't follow what Jeff said about Slondo showing up, though; did he appear before or after the foghorn?

"Could you imagine...what he did to Jessie?" at about 2:11 is one of the single most unsettling lines I've likely ever heard in any Slenderseries. Again, it's hard to tell whether the acting was off or the emphasis was intentional...Nevertheless, that part rather stuck out to me.

I don't think the acting was off for this video. They were attacked by the rake, Jessie is dead, and apparently Slenderman finally reappeared. In my opinion they sound more exhausted than anything which makes sense to me.

Awful generous with the fake blood there, whew. certainly an interesting entry, poor Jessie. I just wish we could have actually seen The Slender Man appear and shoo The Rake away, would have made for a great thing to be shown and not just told about. Surprised about the quick turnaround on this one.
