I think this is a reference to the original Candy Land board game, whose slogan was "A sweet little game for Sweet Little Folks."

But i can't find a good image of the original game board online. Does anyone own this?

What do you guys think?

btw, candyland/candy_land = 404

Jumping to conclusions, it's probably related to the embedded image in farnsworth with the grid of colors. Then again, the colors might not match with the colors on the board.

From www.boardgamegeek.com a pic of the candyland board:

Earlier Solve

Why isn't shad0's solve of

eight_months_pregnant

up on the Wiki yet? Lots of later solves are there. Was it missed because it wasn't posted as a .wav?

The wiki seems to be more closely linked to chat than the forum. Got my solve stolen Sad.

Me, Mazian got Torpedo Lt_Dewback finished it up. This was the driving directions puzzles.

Basically map the directions to a big map...first one we did spelled torpedo backwards, Dewback guessed the other word from there.

Incomplete Solution to wrong_office.wav

I am delighted to (thus far unofficially) record my first solve.

The MIDI file in danapicnic.jpg is by DVORAK. (credit for this partial solve pending)

The gif file in cutebee2.jpg has sheet music in the background (connecting it to the above clue) and the characters ,prbu ruucj. (period included).

Typing cprbu ruucj. on a standard keybord, but as if you were typing it on a DVORAK keyboard reveals "wronf office". I arbitrarily tried wrong_office.wav since it was close.

I can't figure out if it was a PM mistake that produced "wronf office" or what. Maybe a third clue fits in somehow?

There's no purple in the grid, but the pink could be meant to match with that since the actual pink spaces on the board seem to be different to the others (pictures in them).

I have no idea how this could work, since there are more than 33 spaces on the board and repeating colours for each number on the grid.

Solve:

chloe.jpg & bee_garden.jpg. The driving directions created letters. Example: From chloe.jpg, if you follow the jersey route there are 5 points, 4 lines.

Starting in Sacramento (CA) you go east to Salt Lake City (UT), you then head north to Butte (Montana), then west to Seattle (WA), then south to San Diego (CA).

If you draw a line between all points you get the letter P.

The next in the route is L, A, S, M, A (6 routes, Yasmine's on vacation).

from bee_garden.jpg you get

(starting with Jersey and going down)

O, D, E, P, R, O, T

reverse it

TORPEDO

put them together: plasma_torpedo

Edit: the PMs made a mistake in the chloe.jpg - they put Denver CO 70W to Wichita KS. Kansas is EAST of Denver Colorado, not W.

Good job.

Try taking the rainbow bridge... that cuts down the number of spaces considerably. I matched purple to pink and got "ACE" as a possible solution for the first three spaces.

EDIT: Doh, need to learn to transcribe properly.

dana.jpg is a classic brainteaser

I think the dana.jpg is a classic brainteaser about carrying animals / feed across a river without leaving them alone to eat each other. Which animals? A fox, a chicken, and a bushel of corn, maybe?

Perhaps the "letters" are playing the game and the rows of colors are the cards that each player draws? Figure out which letters get to the gingerbread house first and the order spells the answer?
