im liking this thread Very Happy

Entry 29:
It has to be Jay, just after entry 52 ended, Jay ran to/was teleported to rosswood park while he had both cameras. Different shirts you say? a man can change his clothes. Teleportation isn't possible? he walked/drove. Not enough time? Bull, there's enough time between end of 52 and the beginning of 32(?) Smile any other points to clear up cus im blanking on any others Xp

I know, and that's the first thing I thought, but after thinking it a little it's nowhere near credible... Let's see:

Jay was knocked down by Oppy while wearing his red shirt. After he wakes up, he changes his shirt/puts a hoody or whatever. He goes to Rosswood, noentry happends and bla bla bla. Then he comes back at the hotel... and changes back his clothes? That explanation is just... lame. I mean, why would Troseph made Jay do that? It's not credible.

The best way to explain this is "Willing Suspension of Disbelief":

http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/WillingSuspensionOfDisbelief

"You can ask an audience to believe the impossible, but not the improbable".

Being abducted by a supernatural entity who is 2.5 meters tall, has no face and can teleport is impossible.
Changing shirts on and back is improbable.

Guess which is the less credible?

EDIT: Regardless, I believe is Jay who filmed noentry. I just think it's a continuity error from Troseph. But who knows, maybe Jay did changes his clothes...

Maybe Jay was cold and put a hoodie on X3
But then it got hot so he took it off?
Ooooohhhhh Mister Jay!
But it could be a continuity error too XP

The problem I have with these theories is that they would ruin the series' scariness. Things such as unexplainable bumps in the night or a tall man with no face are things that we can't explain, and that's what makes it scary. To give everything a perfectly normal explanation such as this would ruin the series.

I guess what I'm getting at is that this would turn Marble Hornets into a sci-fi thing.

Interesting theory, but there are a few things I'm not on board with.

First, the idea of the Operator giving his powers to people. First of all, what powers specifically? You need to identify which powers you mean, and then show me some evidence that Tim got them. Also, if Tim was the right candidate for the reception of these powers, why did Alex lead Brian out into the burned out building? They already had their man by then. The idea that Alex was trying to get rid of people seems to make more sense than the idea of passing on any abilities.

Also(and this is only really a side thing) I'm a bit confused by your designation of totheark's identity. There are a few very noticeable changes in video style that occur MID season, suggesting that we probably don't just have a season 1 and season 2 totheark. But mainly, I don't see why ALEX of all people would be totheark in season 2. Did you watch the videos? He HATES Alex.

I'm skimming through this thread and there are 2 posts from Tharol that, oddly, make sense.

First one seems to say that people need to rethink their theories.

The second one seems to say that you need to consider the height of the person filming #29.

I think we are looking at this the wrong way and I feel very weird that Tharol makes sense for once. :/
