I think your idea is a good one, and I lean toward a panel. That way, they are given a job - a constructive job where they can make a difference. It is incentive to help this get worked out correctly. If we simply make each blog dependent upon the public to review it, we are basically porting these forums to that blog.

That's not to say that the public should have no input, of course. I simply think the basis should be an experienced, trusted group of responsible reviewers. Perhaps a hybrid of your two suggestions would be best?

XD We can get this underway in the next couple of days. I don't think I want to make this a side-project in itself, though; just maybe like, a couple paragraphs every couple of days. I don't know what it'll do, but it might help with the problem we have, where every Joe Bloggs (god i'm witty) tries his hand at a story.

I don't know if there is a critical mass for such an interesting interpretation of fear that we call the Slenderman. Atleast for me.

I've always been very creative, in the sense that have, with no actual will or intention, taken things and I sub-consciously twist them, and turn them into something more my style, like a clown in an insane asylum who still has kids to entertain so he takes "balloons" and turns them into "balloon animals" until the head-nurse notices and has the room scoured clean and the balloon animals removed.

I don't know where that came from. Anyway, The Slenderman is sort of a familiar character for me. I swear I've drawn something like him, when I went through a project of drawing my interpretation of the four horsemen. I think he was death, or pestilence, long time since I've actually seen the drawings.

Lately, my mind's been a-buzz with starting my own series (two ideas), although I am already bogged down with a show concept that is extremely sell-able, a series where I am currently on the sixth episode of a projected 3-season series(Never mind the fact I still have to write a hard script for those six episodes), and an experimental side series where I create a psychopath who is such an utter heel, that people will watch simply to see if this episode is the one he is finally caught and killed, so I don't know if I will ever really see it to fruition within my time line.

So I don't really reach critical mass when it comes to strange concepts, it just enters a mobius-strip in the idea-fuck section of my mind.

Just throwing this out there, this thread is from November. Not that it negates the opinions here, but just take that into consideration.

I, for one, don't think there's too many Slendy Stories, in fact I think there's quite a few good ones. I just think that people on Unfiction have a very hard time deciding what is good and paying attention to the most rewarding ones. There's so many good Slender Blogs/Vlogs out there that no one pays attention to that really deserve the attention.
