 		Augh....so long without an update...:going insane: I did e-mail the creator a few months ago with some questions and he said he'd be a lot busier this year with school then he was last year.

I'm sure though when he uploads, it'll be fantastic.

But I need my fix of my favourite Slendy series......

 		Important news for fans of this greatly underappreciated series Smile

Punishing Prometheus is coming to an end. Yes, I can feel your pain or rather you can feel mine. Well, not feel. Rather hear. Blubber. All over from Australia, but damn you. Butch blubbering Laughing . It doesn't help that another great series actually ended this week, of course. Afraid at home. Over and brilliantly so. I got a e-mail from the creator of Punishing Prometheus, telling that due to unforseen difficulties, Punishing Prometheus would be coming to a close soon and that the team are hard at work on the final video, but there would more then likely be a delay. However, while Punishing Prometheus is coming to a close, Erik's journey won't be.

He also dropped a Stephen Moffatt style hint that (if you prefer to come into things clean, I have a spoiler bracket around it
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"Don't fret, Erik Daniels' adventure won't be over, even if it seems that way.") Now, what the hell could THAT mean? Does Erik actually die? Or is it (spoiler for Sherlock series two here, guys, brackets will indicate end of Sherlock spoiler) A Reichenbach Falls like moment? (End of Sherlock spoiler) Does he become one of Atlas's number and lose his individuality somehow? Or does Mom finally had enough of the kid wandering off and grounds him for life and the series end in a pique of teenage angst?? Or does she cut Erik's hair leading and Erik to locks himself away in his room in a pique of teenage angst and vlogs: "What the HELL guys? Screw looking for Slendy or Atlas or, everyone's going to see my hair! My beautiful hair is gone!? SCREW THIS! I'm going to isolate myself from all humanity!" Cuts to Slendy and Atlas in the background looking depressed and forlorn, as nothing can compare to the fear of being laughed at by your peers when your teenager. Their power is broken. They can no longer thrive on his fear, for nothing can compare to teenage awkwardness. We come to the earth shattering conclusion that the series could only end this way. (Just kidding, Erick) (Hmm…or maybe Slendy (I do like Erik's hair, but I'm trying to compensate for my future lack of Punishing Prometheus updates with humour because it's going to be so hard :sob: ) Possibly all this or none at all, in the next (and final) instalment of Punishing Prometheus.



Non hint speculation

What is that light? Something used by Atlas or another third party interested in Erick? (I'm guessing Erick's been abducted by this party) Or, perhaps, cleverly enough, it's just another plot thread for us to ponder over for when the series comes back, but comes into play somehow enough in the finale, but it won't be the major focus.


My guess is that the last video we'll see Erick in the power of this figure, and we'll discover one of Erick's secrets (why he came to the attention of Atlas in the first place?)

Anyway, I can't wait Smile!
