My own 2 cents is that creators should be allowed to post OOC in their threads, especially if it's just the silly stuff and/or confirmations Adam does, as it actually makes the threads more fun in my opinion.

BUT, if the rules are really that ironclad that Adam can't post, here's an idea related to what we're discussing regarding appreciations threads and also respecting mod wishes and all: A separate thread, called maybe "Tribe Twelve: A separate thread for creator Adam to comment on posts within the TT thread" or, you know, something shorter. :/

Other series could do the same.

I just said this:

But guys really, the rules are in place for a reason. I dont always agree with them but we should respect the mods decisions.
And maybe a new thread should be created. Not neccsailry a "Nimbus Appreciation Thread" but a OOG and OT thread that the creators would be allowed to post on. Would that be against the rules COA?

I PM'd Child of Atom about this and am awaiting a response. I think it's a brilliant idea. It keeps the creators involved with us here at UnFiction but won't cause a flame war everytime they post.

Look. Unfiction existed before Slender Man. The rules were written as they were written. The way Slender Man stories are written sort of blur the lines of what Unfiction is for, since they are usually more metafictional web-series than ARG (with a few notable exceptions) but Unfiction has welcomed us and given us a place so it's up to us to follow the rules of the house.

We all agree that it's a bad thing for every 12 year old who puts an operator symbol on tumblr to come by here and post a "trailhead" that never goes anywhere, right? Well, I can't stop that, unless I stop this. It's the Magna Carta. It's the rule of law. Rules apply evenly, across the board, to everyone.

If an appreciation thread fixes the problem then do it. That's OOG and Nimbus can post in it until he doubles Tharol's post count if he wants. HOWEVER... he still shouldn't be posting ABOUT TT even in an OOG thread. That's just skirting the rules.

Duly noted.
So, everyone, should we (I, you, whoever) start a strictly Nimbus appreciation thread? Or just a Creators appreciation thread. It will be OOG and allow for the creators to post in that thread instead of thread of their own series'. And like COA said the creators still cant post about thier own series, but at least post in the thread without causing a flame war. So about it guys? Do you think its worth it?

I think they should at least be able to reference things, like for example misinformation, that got posted in the official thread. Like, when Adam corrected my mistake about Mr. Scars being identified. If that happened nowadays with a separate thread, he should be allowed to reference that even tho it was in the official TT thread.

That sounds like it would work, except it wouldnt. The rules say that creators can not post in their own series' thread and can not talk about their series. If the creators really wanted to clear something up they could PM someone about it or use outside sources. (Example: The Tribe Twelve Facebook page) Most of Adam's posts in the Tribe Twelve dont even reference the series at all. He usually posts some image macro or something that is reacting to what someone else said. It wasnt the topic of his posts that were rule breaking. It was the post itself. The rules are clear. I think this appreciation thread is the best we are going to do. The creators can post in there and as long as they are not DIRECTLY talking about their series than its fine.

They'll have to find an in-game way to correct misinformation, sorry.

In that case, perhaps rule #1 should be applied just as strictly: "In general, users should conduct themselves in respectful, appropriate ways... members and guests alike agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful..."

Feeble attempt to get back on-topic:

Vote for whether, in the latest TT vid, upon seeing Firebrand in the doorway, Noah screamed WIAOOH!" or "MAHILOH! (Milo)".

Sound like a shocked 'Milo!' to me.

Let's hope this post gets things back on topic.

Yes, I do agree happen to agree with you. It sounds like a "Milo!" to me. I mean, watch any movie ever made where someone sees someone else who they thought were dead. The first line spoken is usually a, "(insert name here)!" or "(insert name here), is that you?". Every movie/video/series of any type on the planet follows some amount of cliches, and this is one of them.

I really wish it were a "Miloooo!" but, upon rewatching the episode, I just can't hear an I or an L in it. And the first letter sounds a lot more like a W than an M. For that matter, I can't even hear a second syllable. Just sounds like a "WWWWOOOOAH!" to me.

I am a bit more interested in why Noah's voice seems to have some audio distortion. Might just be compression, or some artifact of having been recorded separately. Still, though...

(this is the section in question, right?)

Tyler is getting brought up on Formspring. If HE is important, he'd be an even greater Chekhov's Gunman than Kevin.
