Maybe the antique store sells antique books? Like the book found in Alex's room? Maybe?

What book?
Or, is there an entry where Jay swipes this or something? If so, which? Wink

Perhaps that store happens to sell marble statues...

This seems plausible. Wasn't it established at some point in time that Alex got the name "Marble Hornets" from some statues his parents had (or something like that)? Maybe they were purchased at this store. Maybe Tim was there looking for Alex, just like Jay is supposed to be doing; they just haven't teamed up yet.

I think the idea was that the Brian from the actual student film was supposed to have some sort of revelation from the hornet statues made of marble on his parents' mantle.

(Wow, that sentence reads weird.)

I wonder if this is the antique store where Alex's mother got the marble hornet trinket that inspired his ill-fated film project, and what tie-in that may have? It's already been implied that SM has ties to Alex and Jay going back to their childhoods, maybe the actual marble hornet trinket holds a key?

It would at least give the series a reason to be called Marble Hornets.

I wanted to write a funny response to this, but there's just honestly nothing I can think of. You have stumped me. I cannot think of a clever way to disregard this, besides telling you that there is no "actual marble hornet trinket" and that the reason Alex Kralie's film is called Marble Hornets is because it was a generic student film-sounding title.

You should be ashamed of yourself. You're grounded, go up to your room.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Oh look at that, I still got it.

Sincerest apologies. I understand that my re-hashing of a theory that has at some point apparently been debunked somewhere in the labyrinth of pages in the forum has been troubling. Your day must have been ruined. I can only hope your clever treatise that I've quoted above gave you at least some semblance of solace in what must be a very somber time for you. My condolences.

And don't sell yourself short on your humorous abilities. Certainly the author of such enriching web content as "Cat Raping Water Bottle" and "Entry #Something Or Other" (which is funny, see, because there have been a lot of entries and it could be easy to lose count) will once again locate his muse before too long.

In all seriousness, my apologies to the board. With things getting so bogged down the last thing I wanted to do was re-hash something that wouldn't be helpful.

Anyway, another thought I had about the antique shop is that it's another "time-travel hub" (for lack of a better term) similar to Brian's apartment and that Tim is teleporting there from some other location. Maybe TTA is using at as their "home base" so to speak.

Showed up early this morning at the store to see if anyone ever came. Nothing as of yet. Lights were on inside, though.

Also, if the book on Alex's desk does have any importance or relevance, it seems that it also might be important that there are multiple seemingly faceless suit-wearing individuals across the book cover.

It's only a matter of time now before Jay just throws a brick through the window and sneaks in. He's already in trouble for not calling the police about that murder footage he's got, breaking and entering can't add MUCH to his post-MH prison sentence.

I wasn't trying to insult you or anything, so I'm sorry that it came off that way. I don't come here to insult anyone, but often I kind of 'post-and-forget' when it comes to posting here since I don't really check this place often. Apologies for both that, and yet again posting something unrelated to the twitter account in the twitter thread.

Jay should totally set up a tent in the bushes tonight to see if anything happens. Don't forget the camera, of course.
