Could be that's why he's doing it. At the end of S1 he went off in search of Alex, cutting off contact with his followers, and look what happens. He wakes up with no memory of the past few months of his life, and has to sort through more bloody tapes to find out what he missed. So I guess now (in-game) he's decided it's a lot safer to keep updating Twitter even if there's nothing interesting to film, so there's still a record of what's happening to him. If I'm not mistaken, unlike TT and EMH there's no evidence of people hacking his Twitter. Hell, TTA was forced to make his own YouTube account. So his stuff is safe.
