This one's best boxoffice was 94 screens in a week. But, it did pretty well on the Redbox circuit.

Editing to add another pic. That one was pretty obscure(ed).

No; but, the girl playing the lead might be confused for Daryl Hannah, from the back. Here's a shot of her.

aw crap.
I mean, well done! I had resorted to saving the image and using Google image search, and was *just* coming here to post the answer. Now I'm left with trying to place the face on the TV.

urthstripe has rescued me from the burden of posting the next challenge, and from the guilt for knowing I cheated (just a bit).

(btw, just to let everyone know, I'm going back thru this entire thread and gathering more data points for an expanded spreadsheet. Mine now has the date/timestamp for when a challenge began and ended, and the calculated time it took to be guessed; I've also added a 'Presenter' column, so you can search/sort for who posts the most difficult challenges. I'm halfway thru the scraping, and I will post it in a few days.)

Another Earth?
Most be another another earth than I remember....Is there another another earth or am I confusing this with terra nova? I know. Nothing alike, and yet.....

Wow. That is an impressive feat. You could build an ARG puzzle on this thread that without the spreadsheet would be impossible to solve. I mean just finding a new movie is 'hard' but wat novelty mind bending could flow from this gem?

Urthstripe got it.
But, I guess I didn't really need to confirm.
Puppy... This is from the version that's available at Redbox and the scenes are:
*The location of the accident (Where she later sees the Dad place the robot seen in the 2nd cap)
*The son, in the back seat, just before the crash
    *Her being jailed
*Her getting out, four years later (w\With the news of the other Earth playing on TV)

Having done the whole thread-walk thing a couple of times for this game, I gotta say, that's an ambitious undertaking, catherwood!

ETA A screen cap of the internet newspaper story she reads about him coming out of his coma. Check out the duplication of text.

I remember now. The confusion is when I saw this movie the tv-series Terra Nova (=new earth) was on... I kept messing up the titles back then and... apparently I still do..

Yeah. It's like a previously "alternative" Earth that has a whole Schrodinger's Cat thing going on. They were completely identical until they saw each other and then, become each other's doppelgänger. It was never clear if they each called the other "Earth 2".
