 		I always imagined that Jay inherited a bunch of money from a dead relative. He's had the money for many years, maybe spent some of it on college, but it wasn't until this Slender-business started up that he got paranoid and decided to use the money to keep him on the run.

(can we just ban Tharol already? His unwavering presence has kept me from posting on here these last few months)

I considered where he gets his money a while back. The best i can think of without any input from the troy/joseph or using twitter is he does odd jobs for cash or doesn't really move as far as we may think. Could be anything from editing film, contacted through in universe site, to washing cars. He may even just have a very spotty work history of randomly up and leaving but if he is looking for clues about an area I would assume he would stay within a reasonable distance at all times so holding a job wouldn't be impossible, though keeping it after a tall faceless man in a suit wipes your memory may be a problem. The answer to the question could be Jay saying "Would you like fries with that?" I live in the middle of nowhere and know a few people who drive 20 + miles for a crap job so its not entirely impossible to consider it.

Him holding an actual job could be why it can take him weeks to skim through tapes. It would also show how much this has affected him. He probably spends a good portion of his free time watching tapes or going into forests / places that look abandoned. Its also likely that the whole time whether working, watching tapes, going into areas he shouldn't while alone, whatever the few hours left not sleeping is watching his back for a variety of stalkers some of them with the ability to wipe his mind.

 		I dunno about you guys, but recently, I've begun treating Tharol like an adbot, skipping over his posts. He's becoming quite a nuisance and his posts rarely contribute to the discussion at hand (although I'll cut him some slack for that; This forum is capable of going off-topic pretty often).

This. Just this. I have no troubles with Tharol. He does not deserve to be banned. But he can be quite a pain.

 		Never had issues with the content of Tharol's posts, I actually like the style, they're unique and usually pertinent, it's the frequency that I'm starting to notice.
