One theory we're working on in chat is that there are two clips associated with the tic tac toe puzzle because all letters aren't accounted for.
If you exclude "turn_to_face_you" and "excellent_excuse" you are left with:
C(HO)(NE)F(EU)(SY)(EO)SY(HO)(AU)V(EI)_(ID)(TO)
Where letters in () are in the same tic-tac-toe grid.

and just to point out:
from the above letters you can also get (if you borrow the T from "turn")
the_eyes_have_it
which leaves something like
CONFUS YOU I DO
*shrug*

I think that goes with personal_calls, if I recall correctly.

Sorry - please link me to where your solve is, I am going a bit cross-eyed from going back through this list-- I will double and triple check everything but if you want it added now, post it again.. please
I know, we need thebruce
heh.. was out at salsa. It was back on page 2 but it's ok.. it was an easy puzzle anyway! What i really want is to solve one of the bastard ones like the bottle tops or Dvorak or those frickin' famous people I spent ages looking for .
Once again, props go to all.. especially whoever figured out the famous people and saved my sanity
Can we get a 'solved' tag?

Solve for famous people

I sent this in a PM to Rose twice, but it doesn't seem to be going through:
Credit and path for Excellent_excuse solve.
Based on the trail in this forum, credit for the first step of the solve should go to Arana (me grabbing for credit straws) for this post where I first proposed the idea that we should look at where the heads were looking, rather than what the pictures were of. I got this from linking the phrase in n-cat to this puzzle.
ElViento then took the next step in this post where he/she used my idea to get "turn to face you".
According to the post by Xevo , who also posted the solve for this puzzle, Peeven then used "turn to face you" that was posted to the chat to do his/her brilliant letter subtraction and anagram interpretation to get the rest of the solve. If Peeven did it on his/her own, then I relinquish credit! But Xevo seemed to think the first parts icame from the Arana and ElViento posts!

I'm pretty sure it's not solved. There is definitely a clip missing where Rani asks about the waitress's husband.
Was the cave-drawing picture from page 6 ever used?
EDIT: Yes, it's a new account. I've been lurking during the ilovebees stuff, but I posted back here during Push, NV (and have forgotten what my username was at the time).

It was solved by Arioch and produces "kitchen_smells" when folded in (as in Mad Magazine final page).
I don't notice a gap in the assembled .wav on ARGN.

Yep, Arana should get credit, it was his/her lateral thinking on it that got us going towards what was the solve I just did some gruntwork!

Okay, well maybe it's another .wav from the faces, but there is a clip missing between kitchen_smells and plasma_torpedo.
The assembled file has the waitress saying:
"What, doesn't everybody?
What, Greg? That's my husband."
It really sounds like something is missing, and it doesn't sound like she is saying "but" instead of "what".

I don't buy the gap theory. It sounds OK to me, I think she's just responding to something nonverbal like a 'get back to work' gesture or something.

I hear it like this:
"What, doesn't everybody? But , Greg (That's my husband)"

Is the solved image posted somewhere?
