That would make sense, unless they found a large pool of blood in his room or something.

It seems like everyone the boys have close contact to is getting knocked out of the picture. Thoughts, anyone?

I don't think Alex is dead, mostly because I feel like "Alex isn't okay" is a pretty odd way to phrase someone dying, especially someone we're all very familiar with (and also when you're poised to post a video that seems to have to do with whatever happened).
Personally I'd like to think he's just hurt, something's up with his mental health, or maybe even missing (or a combination of those).

I think since they haven't spoken to Jeff about it, and therefore don't have his permission as to what to say, Vin would want to be as vague as possible, whilst informing people that the situation is serious. NOT OK therefore means anything that is the opposite of OK, and thus all speculation (within reason) is valid.

Considering Vinnie's emotional investment(lack of) in things during the last few months, I'll take his admittance to Alex not being okay and being very distraught in doing so....I'm in the Dead Alex camp.

I don't know if the lack of mentioning Evan is indictivie of his eventual heel turn, but I think we should at least consider it might have happened.

Or, maybe we got some video evidence that Evan might have been involved in the last two deaths(assuming whats-her-name is dead) more than we've been led to believe.

Sorry, I'm leaving the full quote because I'm not sure how to edit it down without mucking it up.

Toss another one if for the Alex hurt/mental issue/missing camp. Vin's phrasing didn't sound like he was dead. It kind of reminded me of how people talk about their family members with Alzheimer's not being alright, or being "lost". If he was dead I'd almost think if Vin was trying to tell us that it'd be more on the lines of, "And Alex..." trail off.

I'm honestly not too surprised that Evan wasn't mentioned. Who knows how much he's been around since the last death? Steph and Daniel were also not mentioned, granted they're not main players but still. I'd almost think that if anything Evan may be almost as upset as Jeff, he and Alex seemed fairly close anytime they were on screen together. And in the surveillance video footage of him and Jeff during Sigma, Jeff specifically mentions Evan kind of like it would be normal for the two of them to hang out. Although I guess now thinking about it, could Jeff have had a bad feeling about the two of them together?

Just saw the video. Maybe it's the fact that i'm sick right now, but i've never felt so emotionally effected by a video before. Seeing Vinny, the staple of calm and clear-headedness, fall so low. I feel genuinely scared.

Something absolutely terrible must have happened to Alex. As horrible as it may sound, death seems like the best possible option for Alex in this case. I could see Vin still being somewhat collected if Alex had just gone nuts, but I fear for the worst as of now.

The Slender worst.

I have an awful feeling that Alex is somehow in a worse position than being dead. I don't know what that could be, but, I don't know. I can't forget the fact that Jessie was massacred to death and he showed no emotional interest, yet now he's falling apart? That doesn't add up very well for me.

I think you are confusing Alex and Evan. We haven't seen Alex on camera since Jessie died, so we have no way of knowing how he reacted.

That said... have we considered that it might be a mental "not okay?" I mean, Alex has been on the edge for a while... and Jessie may have been the thing that snapped his tenuous grasp on things. PLUS... if I was him I'd be petrified of the Rake and hearing that he/it got to Jessie... well... it would certainly put ME on edge.

When I first watched it I didn't get the sense that Alex was dead. The "Alex isn't okay" line struck me much more as an indication that he was seriously injured or that his mental issues had hit a breaking point. But on rewatching, there definitely is a sense of...finality, what with Vinny saying that many things happened and now nothing is happening, suggesting they're all just kind of shell-shocked from the past events rather than still in the midst of dramatic events. And I guess they COULD have footage of an extended mental lapse, but it came across more that they caught one particular incident on film that they might have to edit down before they show it to us. I guess right now I'm still leaning away from Alex being dead, but thinking that somehow he's not with them, i.e. kidnapped/coma/so far out of it mentally that he can't communicate.

Well shit. I just saw the Intermission video pop up and found out I MISSED THE JESSIE TAPE!!! :<

In other news, Vinnie's role as The Voyeur makes his lack of emotion all the more plausible.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
He's so Dead, I don't really see it happening any other way. Unless HABIT made him do something, or is using him.

On that note though,

The acting was great, really made it touching.

I'm wondering if Alex if fine but HE killed someone, not because of HABIT but he lost his mind completely and is murdering people now.

Honestly, I'm leaning toward some "accident" occuring that hurt Alex. Specifically a car crash. With Jeff in the driver's seat. It wouldn't necessarily be his fault, though Jeff would probably blame himself.

We've already seen Jeff's feelings about his parent's death. That car whizzing by in the Christmas vid almost seemed like foreshadowing. Wouldn't it just be terrible if Alex had gotten horribly injured the same way his parents died? Because it seems like something HABIT (maybe Slendy, but I'm not feeling it) would set up. Maybe for a bigger plan, maybe just for giggles.

Side note: Jeff's mental state. When Jessie went missing, he got depressed and went to pills. If Alex were to end up in the hospital or die....

I get the sense that he might already be there. Inactivity is definitely Jeff's style, and I doubt that Vinny or Evan would have the heart to talk him out of it. Like someone already said, he's sort of their collective younger brother. I'd be more worried about his mental state after the moping wears off.

Has anyone tried to talk to Jeff and ask if he's okay?

Well, there goes the "Vinnie's a heartless bastard" theories. Very Happy

There's too many possibilities for what's "not okay" with Alex that speculating right now is probably counter-productive. We're just gonna have to wait it out, I guess Sad
