After watching this I get a few things out of it.

1) We are more than likely seeing the effects of her coming off the Dex. Her emotions are going to start running high because she doesn't know anything about herself and WANTS to know. Of course she can't know everything about her former life, because...well...you know...It could drive her over the edge.

2) It looks like whoever/whatever got a hold of the tattoo apprentice effectively stopped him from saying anything to her. They also didn't go after him physically either. To me he was either mind-wiped or scared into not revealing anything to her. We are safe, FOR NOW, on that front. How much and how often the proxies, or Slendy, are going to step in and protect her is another matter entirely.

My call, IMHO, as I stated earlier is to release a translation of the first page of the journal with the names somehow masked. I am a little uncomfortable with this route but it what Andrea wants and needs right now. She needs to see that there are others out there for her. I think 12th was going to handle the release of the translations. 12th seems capable of giving JUST the right amount of info without going overboard and to still keep the mystery of what is truly going on. The thing we have to realize though is that if we start translating the journal for Andrea we are more than likely going to royally piss of Servus. You know, the person who has been providing her with the roof over her head, the car, AND the medication she was on. The same person who also was watching over her and caring for her during FTR. If we go the route of releasing translations of the journal to Andrea we, more than likely, will lose the help of Servus. And if he/she finds out what we are doing he/she or someone else from the Ordine MAY take their frustrations out on Andrea. Are we prepared for that?

I just love Tati's acting. She does scenes like this VERY well. Scenes like this are why I continue to follow anything she or Aimee make. You gotta give props to these two for really getting you emotionally involved in the character's they create.



TL;DR Release translation of page 1 of the journal with names masked and be prepared for the consequences.

Firstly, Andrea posted the page that we saw in the video with the symbol and the text. The next post is ROT13'd again:

There is trouble stirring. The Magister has ordered a defaeco on two. One I could careless about, but the god might find fault in the reasoning. The other one makes me sad. However, she has become unreliable.


2 more proxies are introduced from the Ordine here, namely Custodis (the Guardian) and Ingenium (Intelligence). The "defaeco" in latin is "cleansing, purification, or purge". I am to assume this refers to an "incineration". Who the 2 were that the Master order the defaeco on is unknown but at least 1 of the "cleansings" upset Servus. Thoughts?

On a side note, 12th, have you gotten a hold of Andrea yet?

I hadn't yet, I just checked this thread after handling things around the house this evening. I was going to see if there was any further comment or dissent about releasing the first entry, and whether or not we should give her the full thing or somehow edit it for content.

I can stall with another response, it would be pretty easy, since I've set up the "character" of the translator.

 		Definitely on board with releasing an edited version of the first entry. I wonder if we shouldn't rewrite the contents a bit to make it seem more unrelated and/or crazy? Have her think it's a dead end?

 		Welllllll.... I'd that that this event sort of necessitates that we set aside the journal translation leak to Andrea for the moment.

We appear to have a new player, someone working against the minions, etc. If it's Servus, then we're seeing a pretty serious 180° turn from what he was telling us earlier. This is going to take a little bit of time to digest, and we'll see if there's another post from the DVD.

Also, has anyone else noticed that there's an extra video in MNMAS's video uploads? She's uploaded 6 videos, but only 5 are showing up. It's been like that for a while. I want to ask about that, but I'm guessing there might be an OOG reason it isn't posted?

You know, depending on what happens with this video/DVD, we might just commit fully and start translating straight to her. Andrea might have the luxury of ignorance being taken away from her soon.

 		Ummm.... Shit... OK...

The thing's I take away from this are the following.

1) The note in the box, at least according to Andrea, is written by the same hand as the journal. The note specifically states "This has gone too far. He must be stopped." Who is "he"? Servus? The Magister? Someone else? We assume the journal is Servus'...soooo... like 12th said this means Servus is either changing his/her tune, or.... we have another player and the journal is NOT Servus'.

2) There are 3 objects besides the DVD in the box.

a) A Plague Doctor mask covered in blood and what is presumably flesh.

b) A small oddly-shaped almost Slenderman-like skull (I say Slenderman-like because of the closed mouth but unlike Slenderman this one has eye sockets. Does Slenderman have eye sockets even though he doesn't have eyes?) with what looks like pins stuck in it. A majority of the pins are on the right side of the skull (our left as you are looking at it). Don't know whether it is significant or not.

c) A baby bottle filled with what is more than likely blood. Somehow that would involve Dahlia but why and for what purpose I don't know.

3) I fear that the DVD MAY be the Memory file un-passworded and decrypted for her to view... i.e. a way to get around her computer crashing when she tries to open the file. That WILL create problems because if she views it she will see Dahlia and.....

I, like 12th, have to process this. If it is Servus pulling this stuff then we may have to confront him/her and have him/her come clean with us. If not then we could potentially alienate Servus. I am not sure whether we should confront Servus or not. We may not be moving fast enough for whoever is in control of Andrea's situation.

 		I think I'm going to put a quick note on the Servant's Journal Blogspot, just that I have some progress from the translator and that we could have something for her later this week. I'll post here before I do it, though.

Well, I missed his call, but I got a voice mail that said that he thinks that the language is actually a code from ancient roman times(???). I don't even know what that means, but I guess it makes sense with Servus being Latin and something. Anyway he said that he'll work on the first passage this week, but not tonight because he's raiding.

Classy guy. Wink


EDIT EDIT: Posted to TSJ. Had to double check that Andrea had mentioned servus being a latin word.
