I'll just say a few things that have happened after watching Marble Hornets. There is a window in one of my bathrooms right behind my head that now keeps me from using that bathroom most of the time. Right next to my other bathroom is a room that always has it's lights turned off, which I am now deathly afraid of. Most areas of my house a terrifying unless someone else is in the room with me......well, someone I know, that is Wink.

I feel you. My nightly 'going to bed' ceremony has changed into 'take a running leap and hide under the covers' every time I re-watch MH. Razz

Hm.
Well my girlfriend told me that last night she woke up but could barely open her eyes and at the end of her bed Masky was peering over the mattress and staring at her. Also after watching Marble Hornets, I've become afraid of my camera and every night I always feel like Slendy is standing behind me.
I also am beginning to draw the Operator symbol EVERYWHERE just to hopefully freak someone out when they see it.

I live in an apartment complex with a more or less dilapidated old basement (We've got rats and roaches there Razz). At night when I'm fixing my bike I always patrol the basement corridors to check for possible Operators lurking in/behind/around the corners.
I also have this round white lamp that hangs in the middle of the ceiling in my room. When i don't close my curtains, the lamp can have a frightingly authentic resemblance to the Big Man. Made me jump several times a while back...

I've not seen anything yet (I only got into this whole shebang a few weeks ago) but lately, when I'm walking around outside at night, I'm looking for him. Which kinda creeps me out by itself.

So, my girlfriend codes children's drawings of their family at our local hospital, to see if they're in a safe living environment. This one little girl drew her father and brother on one half of the paper, and herself and her mother on the other. Dividing the two: (X)

The Operator symbol. HE'S REAL.

I do that with any O's in papers I get from college. Its become compulsive now.

There is this bike trail that runs through my town, right through a large section of woods. Because of Marble Hornets,( and slenderman in general) I absolutely refuse to run the trail by myself. Although, due to its inherent creepiness, I am definitely going to use it for filming in my series once spring rolls around.

So, I walked into my dining room tonight, intending to head through to the kitchen and get something from the basement. I flick on the dining room light because it's after midnight and I want to see where I'm going. Out of the corner of my a eye a reaaaally tall shadow is cast against the blinds in the living room. I stop and take a longer look. And, Oh God, it was human shaped. You could see what looked like two long slender arms and the shadow cut off at the top of the blinds where the neck and head would be. And in the center was what looked like a tie.

I just kinda stood and stared at it for a couple minutes. The rational part of my brain told me A)Slenderman is not real B)It's probably just the power of suggestion caused by a shadow from several different objects. So, to prove how rational I am I took exactly one step towards the shadow. At which point the Genre Savvy part of my brain asked me if I really wished to be devoured that badly. I went and retrieved my brother from his room. He didn't seem to see anything unusual which was good. With him I walked up to the shadow. And I noticed even though we were standing right in front of it, we didn't seem to be blocking the light source making the shadow in any way. I've really got the willies now, and my brother just think I'm weird. Mustering what rationality (and foolhardiness) I have left, I manage to peek behind the blinds. Nothing there (well, nothing tall dark and slender anyway).

We walk back to the dining room, and my brother, who isn't sure why I dragged him from his room anyway, wants to know what's wrong. I kinda gesture to the shadow and wonder out loud vaguely what's making it. He looks around the dining room for a bit and then finally on the top of a high bookshelf he sees a tall slender vase we have with some fake flowers in it. He moves it around and it proves to be the shadow I was seeing. Ye gods, I may have looked like an idiot, but I have never been so glad to have been and idiot in my life! (And now I'm just hoping that wasn't the Cat Scare before Slendy comes to finish me off for good...)

If I was your brother I would totally move a lamp and the vase so the same shadow is cast on your bed room door.

Location: I'm lost, let's ask that bald, tall, faceless guy in a business suit.

It would be awesome if you post some pictures of how the shadow looks, or if you can't take a picture of it, at least show the little corner where you saw Slenderman them. It allways gives me the creeps when I can extrapolate a story like yours into a real place, even if it's just a picture.
