 		As cool as that would be, I doubt thats whats going to happen.

1. The cameras are simply to old to be one Tim used.

2. If Tim retains no memory of being masky, the last thing he would do would be putting those tapes in a store for anyone to bye.

3. It would not be present day, which sounds like season 3's timeline.

1. All of the tothearker bros are film students. That's why there's so much film symbolism in their youtube responses, the second reason for that being that cameras play an important role in all this, but still. Who's to say he doesn't have a wide selection of cameras that he uses? Most of the responses are heavily distorted or terrible quality. Coupled with an appreciation of film and them being film students, this isn't even close to be far-fetched. In fact, seems right on the dot that Timothy would have vintage camers.

2. This isn't proven. In the abandoned house, he even talks. He's not a Jekyll and Hide-type monster, he just has a reason to wear a mask sometimes.

3. Don't follow you hear, though. Tim saw shit was hitting the fan on Jays account, he's made some kind of progress in getting out of the Operator scene, it would make a lot of sense for him to sell off his old camera and tapes, especially in a store that he thinks Jay would never look and a store that's soon to go out of business. Why not destroy them? We don't know, but we know anyone with cameras/tapes has a problem with getting rid of them, in example Alex, who gave them away instead of destroying them, and then even throws his camera away just to have it turn up in his apartment again three years later.

 		I think Jay will only find a few tapes if any. Season3 is supposed to be present time. I don't think Troy would waste the first half of the season going over past events. I think all of Season 3 will be in current time.

 		i still think about how most of the hard drive footage was pointless, yet alex carried it around with him everywhere.

isn't it only assumption that all of the chestcam footage was from the hard drive? it's not like it was connected to it, alex had to manually put the files on that hard drive. going through the tweets a while ago i saw jay only directly mentioned one entry coming from that hard drive

while it's clear there's nothing left on there (video wise) - i wonder if it'll be coming back into play. just can't see why alex would be carrying it around with him everywhere. if he was scared of someone breaking into his place and taking it (bc it holds incriminating evidence), why wouldn't he just lock it up somewhere that nobody could get to it. i think i'm thinking too deeply, but they did mention that hard drive a lot in the season and we really didn't get much from it that i can see

We don't know that they're film students since we only know one identity, Tim. Any further info about the rest is speculation. Besides, Alex and Jay are both film students, but I'm not sure it was ever said that the rest involved in the student film were film students as well, or just friends helping out.

 		I thought Alex was the film student? I don't remember whether anything was said about Jay in the regard, just that they were classmates. Also, I'm pretty sure that Tim and Brian were established as just friends of Alex's from his hometown.

That's what I'm trying to get across, Alex obviously is one, and Jay, in the very first intro video, said "Being a film student myself, I hated to blahblahblah", so that's them. But the earlier theory a few posts ago claimed that all the tothearkers were film students, when we only know the identity of one of them, Tim, who we're not even sure is also a film student. And like you said, I got the impression the rest of the cast were just Alex's friends he brought on board.

I'm assuming the above theorist mistakenly thought that the spec that all TTA members were from the doomed MH shoot, was not spec but fact, which isn't the case. And even if it is fact, like we said, the other cast members were implied as more 'buddies helping out' than also film students.

 		I would guess there all the MH actors are not film students. The only one of Alex's friends we know that had little to do with MH as Jay, who I assume like the other students in the class was doing his own assignment at the time. This would imply everyone else in MH was not doing there own assignment.

All good points.

However, there's plenty of reason to beleive that someone in the TTA gang is at least into film as a hobby, if not having studied it full-time. If you consider the fact that they obviously have access to the cameras, editing software and the techniques to make their videos, there's got to be someone who takes it pretty seriously there.

The one question Id ask is whether this person is Tim. The only suggestion we've had of Tim even using a camera is in the TTA vid where we see Jay coughing in Brian's house, and Tim was the only other one we've seen in the house - thats hardly concrete though. I'd be more inclined to suspect that Tim is the 'face', and its another member of TTA who is the 'director'. In that instance, I don't think we will be looking at Tim's own footage.

Thought - the TTA guys used a lot of found footage, right? It strikes me that a second hand/junk/antique store is right up their street. The whole TTA identity feels a bit like a junk store, all theatrical masks, found footage, creepy old dolls.... If they needed a base of operation (heh) in the Rosswood area, that store would be a great place to do it.

Oh god. I don't think it's very likely, but what if Jay bought the camera equipment and in it was some of the original footage that ended up in TTA videos? I think I would flip. Also I don't have time to comb through the episodes, but does the creepy doll match any of the dolls in the display case?

Yeah, going to go with not very likely but if it did happen that would be a gigantic revelation.

 		I'm sorry, I haven't reviewed my MH videos in some months.. but.. when did we actually get confirmation that Tim = TTA, and that TTA = A group, instead of one person.
