Let's hope it wasn't because he messed up, this is too interesting for it to be wiped because of a couple month gap.

That new post though. I'm really interested in the notebook.

From the latest post

Quote:
Twisted mockeries of humanity, blurred faces, men and women wearing grotesque or minimalist masks

This guy is a shout out machine, Silent Hill, and now the masky clones.

I like the deconstruction of things, Slender Man is a mind raping abomination, whatever those things are are clearly not human.

I think the blog ended, that last post sounded like an end post.

It's really short, almost too short. I want from this author, that looks like a cliff hanger ending in the first place.

I'm really hoping that's not the end...I was hoping for more answers. Like where does the title of the blog fit into all this?

I meant to say earlier there was a line from the Feb. 13th entry that really resonated with me. The narrator was describing the people with the blurred faces outside, and described them as "Things that might have been human once but lost it so long ago." This idea of being human but not quite, or having been human before and still resembling a human but being somehow off, is really such a big part of what makes Slender Man so creepy.

I love this blog; I hope it hasn't reached its end. The theme of losing yourself by losing your memories and in the process exploring what makes us human has always had a pretty big impact on me. I'm interested to see if there's a next entry/what it is.

Well, this round is(was) a soft reset of events. So, this may or may not be the end of the blog. Don't count it out just yet until a new posts pops up or if there is another soft reset.

Then again, the author may just cut it here. Who knows *shrugs* My guess is to just keep an eye on the blog for a little while.

Yeah, while it wouldn't technically be a bad ending by any means, it would feel a little rushed to me. A lot more could have been done with the story--and seeing how good of an author the writer is, I would love for more to be done with. I'll be keeping my eye on it, at least for a while...

I think that this cycle's done...

I'm almost certain that there will be another cycle soon-ish, so I'd keep checking back to this blog every so often. :3

Ooh, thanks for reminding me. I still need to find anything previous. And read it.

(Relatively) new post. http://ghostsofaforgottenpast.tumblr.com/

I also used Google Reader to look at the old posts. This is really cool. Has anyone else read them? I don't totally understand what's going on, but I'm really looking forward to reading the latest cycle.
