The only reasonable explanation I can think of is that he's been replaced by his future self, but that doesn't even make sense, because if he was his future self then he would know about it.
I don't think he's in a new iteration, since I'm pretty sure that can't happen until the next (greater) cycle.
Also, he seemed legit surprised that his beard was gone.
ALSO, this took place between Jessie's death and "Intermission," right? How come he has a beard in that video?

His beard in Intermission is MUCH less bushy than it was at the beginning of Consensus, just a few days' growth. The timeline works.

 		Okay, a slight concession in the "Vince might have aided in Alex's death" theory. After watching the video a few more times... it really does look suspicious. If that was a "hidden camera" that Vince placed in the back of his own car, maybe it is to keep himself in check? Maybe he knows Slenderman can cause him to do things he doesn't want to do? And that after he wont remember, but he keeps as many cameras around him as possible to capture any events?
