I'm hoping they're gonna get back to everyone that's tweeted #weylandinvestors A few things in the source code, too, namely "CONSIDER INVESTING IN HIS VISION"

Link seen in background At approximately 50-55 seconds there is a message on the screen that is a bit blurry but with a little trial and error you can get - http://bit.ly/tgwQvj
That link leads to the iTunes Movie Trailers for Prometheus.

For MOVIELORD101 It looks like you have me blocked in Twitter so here's the answer to your tweet about the flashing OFFLINE at the top of the page. The script.js file contains the code to make it flash and there is only a fixed pattern at the moment -
// pulse the "offline" text once in a while
setInterval(function() { $('#weylandNote').children('span').fadeOut('fast').delay(100).fadeIn('fast').fadeOut('fast').delay(100).fadeIn('fast');
}, 5000);
Of course it says to expect to be contacted in the next few days so anything is possible down the road.

getting in on the ground floor for this one. I can't wait!
keep in mind Prometheus isn't an Aliens reboot.

from the ted 2023 page, it says:
Quote:
In less than a decade, Weyland Corporation became a worldwide leader in emerging technologies and launched the first privatized industrial mission to leave the planet Earth.
i noted that the site was weylandindustries.com, yet mentioned formally as weyland corporation. so, i pulled a whois on http://www.weylandcorporation.com :
Registered through: Go Daddy
Domain Name: WEYLANDCORPORATION.COM
Created on: 14-Aug-04
Expires on: 14-Aug-12
Last Updated on: 28-Feb-12
last updated 28 feb 2012 seems too much of a coincidence, despite the whois info dated farther back and different than weylandindustries.com.
i also saw that skyrocketmedia, who owns the domain, has a client list that includes cbs and other networks, so that didn't exclude it as off-game just yet to me, but who knows.
so i visited the site and there's a mail icon and an email address to request more information. i fired off a request and have yet to hear anything.

I've not been this excited since Cloverfield. Though perhaps I'm building it up in my head far too much!

#waylandcorp #waylandcorp on Twitter are 'Currently hiring level 3 crew; must have hypersleep waivers or android certification'. I've asked how I can apply.... maybe I'll get something interesting.

it's waylandcorp with an 'a'
What was strange is that I couldn't find it on Twitter last night so I followed them on SMS instead in case the account was created later. Normally when I do that it immediately sends me a couple SMS messages with the last tweets but this time I received nothing so I assumed the account did not exist. Then about 15 minutes later I get a SMS message with their first tweet saying it had been sent 6 hours prior. I was wondering if that account was created after the release of the video and the time of that tweet puts it several hours after most of us became aware of it. For that reason I am a little cautious for now until the validity can be confirmed.

I just added the weylandcorp twitter feed, but to be honest it looks like a game jack. The Image of the group is very cloudy and i don't think a production group would stand for a low resolution image to be their main profile pic. Also, the main page nor anyone else related to the movie has actually mentioned the feed. My thoughts.. gamejack.

I'm beginning to think that. If you haven't looked already, the responses are a little bit of fun, it seems, but the two responses to me (mentioning Moravec and Kurzweil) refer to people known for work with robotics, specifically AI.... so it's quite... intriguing, for a gamejack. Maybe still worth keeping an eye on.

Here's hoping this turns into something worthwhile - this would be the first ARG that's caught my attention in a long, long time.
